Parklands is set in the heart of the charming historic village of Blackheath, known for it’s bushwalks, golf, horse riding, adventure activities, antique shops, galleries, pavement cafes, and some of the finest restaurants in the Mountains - all within walking distance. The property itself is a 28 acre heritage property where century old trees dominate the landscape and rolling green lawns lead down to a private lake. Resembling a large English country garden, it is a haven of beauty and tranquillity where it’s intimate and relaxed atmosphere ensure that guests return time and again. The accommodation contains a mixture of Garden Suites and Deluxe Loft Rooms, specifically designed to ensure maximum comfort and privacy. Each room/suite has ensuite bathrooms with underfloor heating and large fluffy bath towels, king size beds and a wood fireplace giving plenty of heating for those cold winter nights. Please note woodfires only available in rooms between 1st April and 30th September each year. Choose to have the famous ‘Parklands Gourmet Breakfast’ delivered to your room and you will be delighted with the smell of muffins, croissants and other delicious gourmet assortments, together with the daily paper – a fantastic way to start the day before exploring the many attractions throughout the Blue Mountains. From the moment you arrive and are warmly greeted by your hosts, you will immediately sense true hospitality and begin your escape from the rigours of everyday.

What a beautiful location and the grounds are magnificient. A couple of great restaurants close by and some of the best bushwalks you will experience in the Blue Mountains. Such a beautiful location would have deserved some history about it in the rooms - but was not to be. Breakfast delivered to your door in a picnic basket was a nice touch (with the newspaper) although it was the same both mornings. We will be returning.
I've stayed in lots of hotels and never felt the urge to add a written review but Parklands merits the effort; a lovely suite in lovely grounds - great service without being intrusive, the breakfast was neat and started the day well and I would highly recommend Parklands for a stay.

The best that we have! Separate bedroom with king bed & ensuite, private sitting room with a stunning outlook over our old golf course. Your comfort and privacy are virtually guaranteed in these charming surroundings with your own wood fireplace and more.
The stay at Parklands Country Garden and Lodges was a sublime experience. The gardens and rooms are beautiful, we were lucky enough to have the place to our own mid-week. Some of the facilities stated are not there yet (didn't matter, there are tennis courts nearby etc), as development is planned, not sure if that's a good thing! The Breakfast basket provided was a veritable feast! All staff were just fantastic, helpful, friendly. It would be impossible to recommend this place too highly, and we will be back!!!
A strange place. Nice amenities and facilities, but rather strange breakfast arrangements (no cooked breakfast, but rather camping-style bread in glad wrap and small kellog's boxes). Not the most inviting/gracious service we have ever received either.
Perfect spot for an extremely relaxing weekend. The massive gardens with autumn tonings looked fantastic from our cute and cosy loft room. We enjoyed opening our gourmet breakfasts to find out what treats we had each morning. The king size bed was very comfortable. Temperature control in the room was not a problem, with a wood fire, wall heaters, under-tile heaters and an air-conditioner! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Do not forget to take your CD collection with you for background music it added to the mood of the place!
