Staff pleasant on arrival, helpful and had our room ready. Quickest check in we have ever had. Service was good. Our Room was very neat, tidy and comfortable. We enjoyed a full buffet breakfast and it was nice to know that we had the choice of room service too.. We thoroughly enjoyed our over night stay here.
Will stay again - had a nice view of cricket oval. The pool however; it's a kiddy wadding pool - didn't get to swim in it
Everything was great, apart from the one rude girl in reception. After asking a simple question 5 times, and not receiving an answer, her way to deal with it was to raise her voice and threaten us, although we maintained calm & polite throughout. Thankyou to her manager who shortly after actually answered our question the first time we asked, rather than give us the run around & try to create a scene. Have stayed a couple of times now, and the deal we have received is fantastic. The rooms are well maintained, very roomy and clean.

First time out of the Melbourne CBD. Thought we would give it a go. Could not be happier. Short tram ride down St Kilda Rd. Great location for exploring Chappel St, St Kilda, up to Richmond, Bridge Rd, MCG etc. Rooms are newly renovated, nice view over the old cricket ground and city. Very nice facilities and friendly staff. Well done Parkview. We will be back many times.
Don't get hung up on the fact that this hotel in not in the centre of Melbourne city, because it really is a great option. With loads of parking you can get in and out of the hotel quickly to get to anywhere in Melbourne so it's super convenient. If you don't have a car with you - no problem - with trams coming back and forth all the time on St Kilda Road you're in the city in no time flat. The dining room at breakfast is great, sunny and well serviced by the stirling staff. The rooms are clean and modern. We had a deluxe room and it was fabulous people.... the king bed was comfortable and the view out to the park and the bay was relaxing after a long day be it business, sightseeing or shopping. Funny enough I'm a travel agent and I was there for a conference. I told all the other agents how great it was so the word is out. Official seal of approval. I won't hesitate to come back or to book for my clients in the future. The only down side - the walls are a bit thin and the foyer is a bit tired and the interior of the lifts are tired, but really not a huge bother. We enjoyed our two nights here. We hope you will too. The hotel was clean,comfortable and an easy tram ride into Melbourne city and our room had great views. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would recommend this hotel as being of great value for money. The only criticism we had, was that the meal we had at the Lime restaurant which was quite pricey, was very ordinary.

A very pleasant stay with good value
we enjoyed our stay here the rooms were great except doors closing were very noisy at noght and early morning also dimmers on the bedside lamps would be great too...otherwise good value and good service...ps beds were very comfy too
This was avery convenient location for our overnight stay. Service was very good and we were very happy with our upgrade. Pricea for breakfast and for drinks in the evening were better than expected. The king size bed was fantastic
