Parkview Hotel Sydneyis a self-rated 3 star hotel. Parkview Hotel Sydney locates on one of the famous street " Broadway" in Sydney, opposite the Sydney royal park " Victoria Park", the Broadway shopping center is adjoined with the hotel, which contains supermarket, fashion shops , cinema. The famous Glebe Point Roads is beside the hotel ,contain several nice pubs and famous restraurants. Our hotel near central station ,bus stop just in front of the hotel . Please note that some rooms do not have windows, however all have air conditioning. We have a small private car park beside our hotel for our customer. Fees apply. We have 24 hours reception, office hour from 8:00 am --10:00pm

Getting there:By bus to Broadway or Glebe point road or University of Sydney By train to central station then go along the george street with direction to University of Sydney, Then go down the road till you see the victoria park or broadway shopping center.

Car parking:we have limited car parking in open car park with $10/night.
Child Policy:Extra adult charge aged 12 & over $30 per night OR extra child under 12 is $15 per night. Babies under 2 are free using existing bedding.
On occassions, visiting academics from interstate come to Sydney University and accommodation close to the Universtity is perfect, however sometimes it is required for part of day and not overnight. Not sure if the hotel has a day tariff.
Very happy with this hotel. Room, bathroom, bedlinen and towels were all spotlessly clean. Location was perfect as I wanted to explore Glebe and go to a movie in the city - was able to walk to both. I was glad I saw from earlier posts that there was no lift - but being prepared for this I was happy to climb the stairs. My room had a window, which I was pleased about. Air conditioning and fan. No remote for the TV - I don't see that as a big problem. Tea making facilities in room. Tourist info in foyer. Adjacent to Broadway shopping centre. They let me into the room soon after midday, much appreciated.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with my stay.
I stayed here for 3 nights from saturday 13th november 2010 and thought the reception staff were reasonably helpful.The twin room with ensuite that i booked was clean and the sheets/towels were good.They had a small fridge and a kettle in the room which was handy. The only gripe i really had was having to pay for the room(3 days) in full at checkin.Also,on 2 occasions i returned to my room to find that the swipe card did not work.This meant i had to trek back to reception to reactivate it.I had a heavy load,a sore knee and there is no lift so it was a bit annoying! Aside from that there is a shopping centre around the corner and many restaurants nearby. Tip:Buy a 10 trip multi ticket for the bus as most of them are prepay only and it saves walking!
Certainly not 5 star but for the price it was very good!! Clean, good location, parking & polite staff!! Would certainly use it again!!
Hotel room was rather dirty-hairs on bathroom floor; large water stain on ceiling. Furniture old and broken.

The room was basic but for the price what do you expect. The room smelled of stale vomit and there were rats constantly running around the place. Great location but really needs an overhaul.
Great cheap room in the heart of Broadway, Sydney. Cheaper than taking a taxi home and back again the next morning and completely adequate to stay in
they make you pay for parking fees but not untill you arrive they should state if you are going to pay extra for parking
The location of the hotel is very good. Generally good value for the money except the traffic noise from the main road close to the hotel.
Really does need a re-vamp,but the staff were friendly and helpful and we basically only spent enough time there to sleep anyway,so the money we saved on accommodation,we spent elsewhere.

Very typical Chinese motel. Nothing fanciful. A comfortable stay.
That is what you get for $80/day in Sydney. Recommended for one-day-stay only (maximum three) or for peole with tight budget.
Bathroom grubby, taps not working properly. Whilst TV worked OK, no remote. Drawers in dresser locked, no chair to work at a desk space.
Fantastic location, friendly and obliging staff, all that is required in a basic room. Cleaning done regularly, effective airconditioning, TV and fridge. Good sized room, would stay there again.
The proximity to the city and to the Glebe cafe's was a positive. The proximity to brothels was not. The hotel needs a good clean and the customer service needs improvement.
