A 3 star 31 rooms unit with a good mix of family, double and spa rooms located within a short walk to Queanbeyan city centre and opposite a lovely park. The motel is located a short drive of about 15 minutes to the centre of Canberra city and most of its attractions like the Parliament House, old Parliament House, National Museaum, War Memorial, Telstra Tower, Cockington Green and the many other attractions of Canberra. The annual Floriade flower show is just 10 minutes from the motel. The Parkway Motel is ideally located as a halfway stop from most locations to the Snow fields which is some 2 hours drive from here. The South Coast is hour and half away. The motel staff can help with making arrangements for bus tours of Canberra as well as the locations of the attractions and the best times to visit these.

Getting there:The motel is within the Queanbeyan city precint. Driving in from Canberra on Canberra avenue, take a left turn on Antill St (next to Police Station), a blue motel sign located here. From the bridge end into Queanbeyan, a right turn on Antill St, where the statutue is. It is a short walk from the Queanbeyan bus stop and a short taxi drive from the train station in Queanbeyan.

Third time I have stayed here for work. Everything good.
I travel for work and have stayed here a few times, location is perfect for my work, price is perfect for work. Its nothing flashy but definately does the job, always clean and tidy and staff friendly. Will continue to stay here for work purposes.

Happy enough with the position and cleanliness, but no electric blanket and we were cold. All 3 rooms booked by us were the same. Aircon was too noisy to keep on all night. No rooms serviced on weekends.
it's a good place to stay. quiet place and close to the shops. But it didn't provide soap in the bathroom. a little bit unconvenient.
Basic rooms but a pleasant location across road from park and handy to town centre and restaurants. Note rooms are not serviced on weekends and holidays.
I felt most welcome at this motel, and the front counter staff were most helpful at all times. The room was comfortable and affordable, close to public transport and restaurants.

A well run Family Motel located close to Queanbeyan facilities. A good low-cost motel with pleasant service.
Facilities were adequate considering cheaper room rate. Room was clean and we were treated pleasantly, being thanked for staying there. Would have preferred a softer mattress. Only 15 minutes from Canberra and we would stay there again.

The standard is acceptable. I don't mind to use it again The name is misleading, it is not in Canberra but in N.S.W. instead. Luckily it is not too far from Canberra.
would not usually stay in Queanbeyan but everything in Canberra was booked. Glad it was. this place was very clean, conveniently located and only 30 mins by bus to civic. The other thing i liked was that it was very quiet. I find it had to sleep when i travel for work but this was great. would use again without hesitation.
