Parque Mourabel Apartments Vilamoura

"We have been here for 4 times over the last 5 years and have always been happy with our stays there. Staff are friendly and helpfull and the apartments are spacious and clean. This time we where pleasantly surpised to stay at a newly refurbished apartment as the PR lady told us proudly ..and indeed floors , kitchen cupboards , furniture , bathroom all had been renewed and we could only give it top marks. Refurbishing in other units and at the site was still going on but it didnt bother us as it was not noisy and well away from where we and most guests where staying . We where also happy to find that restaurant menu and information was also written in Portuguese and not only in English and German as before at the end of the day we are in Portugal and many guests are Portuguese ,a fact that is often forgotten in the Algarve... "We found this place on a very last minute deal so we paid a very cheap price and so cannot have many complaints. The 1 bedroom apartment we had was a bit small for a family of 4 if you plan to stay longer than a few days. Also it was not particularly clean. The Receptionist was very helpful. The breakfast was worthwhile and the pool area was nice although it could have been cleaner." - Jeremy Coleman

"Well priced, would stay again if they changed the beds.. Comparable to sleeping on a slab, but you pay for what you get. Housekeeping was excellent, fresh towels and sheets every day. Reception also could not be faulted. Studio rooms could do with modernisation though. All in all, value for money." - keith haugh

"Spacious and well equiped self catering apartments apart from the fact that there is no aircon which practically makes the rooms unusable and can not be recommend for this reason alone. As the apartments are a taxi ride (or free bus at certain times of the day) from the marina, would have though that there would be more facilities in site especially for children, however, the pool areas are very nice, the on site supermarket is fine and the staff are generally very helpful.
