A very nice and stylish hotel halfway between Krakow and Oswiecim. Be ware that you may find it a bit too far from Krakow, as traffic in the area is heavy, and you have to count more than the average minutes per mile for driving. I would not advice the place if you don't have your own car. The area is very nice. Rooms are good and large, but a road runs between the hotel proper and the annex, with some disturbing traffic both in the morning and late at night. Mostly a problem if you stay in the annex. Next time I would go for the main building.
The hotel was very frendly, but not too close to Krakow (29Km) and if you don't have a car, choose another hotel. The breakfast was perfekt. The jakuzzi was dirty, the fittnes machines was old but usable.
Very relaxing with a great location out in the country.
The background story of the Palace is interesting, but it is really just a large country house. The "grounds" are not significant and there are no gardens per se. The description made the site seem much more substantial. We stayed in the converted "Granary" which is not in the Palace at all, and our room was small and nothing special. It served our purposes as an overnight accomodation on our way to Krakow. The breakfast was quite good.
Paszkowka palace would have a lot more guests if they supplied some sort of transport to and from Krakow for a night out, I heard one of the guests say that theirs more life in a morgue.
This hotel was a fab place to stay, set in the countryside, meant you were able to relax. the staff were great, very helpful, and able to organise transport and tours. The location was a bit far out from Krakow city, but good as a base.
It was nice and quiet location.
Far from krakow city centre...Ok if you have a car...Staff was very very nice, but the quality of linen, towels, furniture etc was way below par. No value here, could probably do a lot better with the same price. Think twice.
It is a little hard to find but very well worth the search. Nice and quiet hotel. I would go back.
The hotel was great. Very few hotels in Central Europe can bost such flawless service. I personally have not felt so welcome at a hotel before. The food was gormet and excellent, however possibly a bit pricy for the region. The rooms were great, but some maintanance issues exist. Nothing that would greatly inconvenience a guest. The beds are American style, but very soft. The only 'true' negative of the hotel was the jacuzzi. When we wanted to lay in a hot jacuzzi, it was completely cold. I'm not sure though if this was because of the hour, we went there at midnight. However, they said it was available at all hours. The pool was beutiful and lagoon like. Again, very nice that it was available all night. Overall, the hotel was excellent. My standards are high, and the hotel met/exceeded them. Most notably was the staffs service. It is very rare to find excedingly good service in Central Europe, but this hotel was world class in this aspect. I was very pleased with my stay!
