The Pavilion is a groovy 30 room converted townhouse Hotel in central London targeted at a discerning, artistically minded clientele. Rooms are themed to project a funky and glamorous image. "Honky Tonky Afro" is a tribute to the 1970's while "Casablanca Nights" is a deco inspired Moorish fantasy. If you love design then the Pavilion is definatly for you. If you don't KEEP AWAY! Located near Oxford Street and Hyde park, Harpers & Queen magazine described the Pavilion as "London's chicest little Hotel". According to the Evening Standard newspaper it is "London's hottest crash pad for style slaves in W2." Rooms are crammed with quirky eccentricities, antiques & bold dramatic colour schemes, yet benefit from having all the necessities of modern day living such as direct dial telephones and satellite TV's with DVD/CD players. Every room has it's own private en-suite bathroom, small in size yet adequate for it's purpose. A few rooms have bathtubs instead of showers, these rooms can only be requested by phone directly with the Hotel. The Pavilion is popular amongst the fashion, media and music world. A diverse collection of bands, pop stars and actors have visited the hotel. At the Pavilion we keep our prices low, so everyone can enjoy it. Just make sure you are a design junky! See You soon!

No air-conditioner which is quite surprising, but luckily it's not very hot so it's fine. free wifi is available but the network is not stable at all, we need to wait for few hours to get the network connected. Staff r very nice.

I booked a small single room and I´ve seen smaller rooms so it was nice. Bathroom and shower were VERY small though. Anyway, I got just what I booked. Only stayed 1 night (arrived late and let early) so it was fine. Short walk from Paddington staiton to get the Heathrow express.Nice pubs within 5-10 minutes walk.

This is not a hotel for you if you want a room like a holiday inn or other chain. I slept great and the room was clean. Be aware that the rooms are decorated in a way that might not suit everyone, I liked the character, felt like I was staying in an eccentric aunts spare room. Good stay i'll go back.

This is an unusual hotel with each room decorated and furnished individually.... worth a visit and the staff were perfectly friendly.

Pavilion Hotel is a good for quality and price. The hotel is clean and the staff is polite. Excellent location. There's only one thing I can say about rooms with balcony, in winter they are quiet cold due to the fact that the windows are old and do not close hermetically.

Some will like this hotel, some won't. I thought it was great. My room was Indian Summer - whole room decorated too match an Indian theme. Great effect, although the room itself was quite small. Recommended.

Nice convenient hotel, close to tube and buses. A bit old looking, could use a bit of renovations, and also the curfew where you need to buzz to get in after 10pm is a bit inconvenient.

After reading previous review on numerous websites I was abit concerned about what would be awaiting us! As it turned out the hotel was fine, staff helpful/friendly and in an excellent location only 10 mins walk from Paddington Station. Yes the decor is rather over powering but if you'd looked at the hotel website, this was to be expected. If you want something different, stay here! We were abit disappointed to be given a twin room when we'd booked a double but as the hotel was full there was no alternative. The bathroom was rather small, wouldn't be suitable for larger people. Continential breakfast delivered to the room was perfect for me. Overall, the hotel was perfectly adequate for our needs, close to Paddington, fantastic price (£79 for 2 inc breakfast).

This hotel is very different to most others and may not suit everyone. However, I loved it and I will be back. I was in the 'Family Affair' (a room - not a relationship!) which had a very comfortable bed (one of three)- the bathroon was tiny but did the job. Continetal breakfast was delvered to my room on time and was adequate.

Small room facing noisy street. Squeeky bed. Roll and jam would have been better than muffin and croissant for breakfast. Friendly staff.

A very good price and location. I got a room next to the main road so it was a bit noisy, but overall okay.

A small hotel but with a friendly staff. It is good to 10 pounds per day I could park the car in front of the hotel. Room price is very good and is pretty well positioned.

Pavilion is a funky hotel in a relatively central area. While rooms & showers are on the small side its decor is definitely worth a visit just to see.
