Very friendly and helpfull staff. Please advertise in your prospect/online that your shuttlebus leaves latest at 0830, and not like 10 or later, we thought that we could book as we wanted up until 1100, but no. So prepare yourself for an early riser. But saying that breakfst. was fantastic, were allowed to book the night before for a discounted price, adult 17/child 10, really , really good. Had dinner twice, good, 15% discount as a staying guest. But the quality of the waiters were not impressive, some should choose a different job or pay attention to how a waiter at a 4.5 star hotel does his job.

If you don't mind staying a little further form the city centre , ie a decent walk or a quick taxi ride , then this place is a gem . The rooms are very similar to the Crowne but not nearly as expensive . Breakfast was a wonderful surprise , a great range and plentiful although nothing fancy . I will be staying here next time instead of the Crowne , They do a great job!
Could not fault it.
Very good; clean and neat with helpful staff - I liked this hotel.
ON ARRIVAL THE HOTEL WANTED US TO UPGRADE ROOM AND ADVISED OF DISCOUNTS ON MEALS AT BOOK IN TIME... FELT IT WAS A BIT OVER DONE ... PERHAPS IT WAS BECAUSE HOTEL WAS ALL BUT EMPTY
An excellent place to stay when in Canberra. Fantastic helpful staff in all areas. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. Will definately stay there again.
Close to city centre. Lovely atmosphere - will definitely stay again
The hotel is a little bit out from the main drag - a good 25 minutes walk to Civic. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Had dinner in the restaurant one night and was pleasantly surprised.
Very enjoyable stay. Excellent food. Room a little cold.
A little bit far from the CBD to walk. Otherwise, a good hotel with more than adequate facilities.
Special breakfast deal was hard to refuse and lived up to the hype
Great service Staff couldn't have been more attentive to our needs Will stay again
my mum and myself needed some time away together after dad died. we travelled from sydney and had a scenic trip. Canberra had a lot to offer but bumed out on the weather on the sunday which it rained. Staff were at hand to help find places to go. I would recommend the Pavilion on Norhtbourne Hotel to my family and friends. thanks
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are a good size with comfortable bed. Very good breakfast but coffee was extra $3.50 unless you had instant coffee which was included. A nice size hotel and one never felt overwhelmed by it. The atrium is a lovely touch and adds to the ambience beautifully. Restaurnts are not nearby so it was good that the hotel restaurant is good and resasonably priced
We got a great deal on this hotel and it easily met expectations. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and considering that the restaurant appeared a little cheesy set amongst palms with probably too many water features, the food was actually really good (and we would consider ourselves "foodies"). The room may have been a little dated but it was clean and had been maintained well.
Great hotel nice tropical feeling with the atrium, handy to see most sites of the area, transport avail, food was outstanding, staff very welcoming.
As a sightseer to Canberra I found the complimentary shuttle bus in the mornings a very useful service and the driver most helpful.
For $150 per night my wife and I had a comfortable room with king bed, flat-screen TV, full breakfast for two, access to a good gym and swimming pool ... all this in a hotel with one of the most spectacular atriums we have ever seen. And only 15 minutes walk from Woolley St Dickson, the premier restaurant district of Canberra!
Very good hotel which caters for all types of travellers. My wife and I are seasoned travellers, and will certainly stay at The Pavillion when we next visit Canberra.
