From Bundaberg or Gladstone it's a leisurely picturesque drive to this secluded beach haven through some of the most beautiful Australian landscape on offer. Mirage Pavillions on 1770 provides a perfect base to explore this region and experience the natural beauty of the surrounding national parks and the great wonders of this stretch of coastline. The property offers spacious and modern self-contained one, two and three bedroom self contained apartments featuring a full kitchen with European appliances, laundry facilities, spa bath and private balcony/courtyard with BBQ facilities. Getting there:By Car (from south): Traveling North on the Bruce Highway follow the signs to Bundaberg. Once you have reached Bundaberg follow the signs to Gin Gin and then take the turn off to Town of 1770/Lowmead. Once you have arrived in Agnes Water turn left on to Captain Cook Drive (after the service station on your left) following the sign to Town of 1770. After approximately 2km make a right onto Beaches Village Circuit (opposite the Bowls Club), continue through the roundabout and take the next left into Surf Crt where you will find Reception. By Car (from north): Traveling South on the Bruce Highway take the Miriam Vale exit and follow the signs to Town of 1770/Agnes Water. Once you have arrived in Agnes Water turn left on to Captain Cook Drive (after the service station on your left) following the sign to Town of 1770. After approximately 2km make a right onto Beaches Village Circuit (opposite the Bowls Club), continue through the roundabout and take the next left into Surf Crt.
Check-in Procedure:If arriving after reception hours please pick up the phone located outside reception and dial 9. Our operator will provide the code for the safe which will contain your apartment keys, map and information on how to locate your apartment
Car parking:Complimentary underground security parking is available on site. Maximum vehicle height is 2 meters. External parking areas are available for boats, caravans and trailers if required.

Great place to stay , but needs to have an onsite resturant as there are not many in town.
The apartments are spectacular however the outlook from most is a road or communal walkway. Very disappointing! The only apartments we found with a private balcony have 3 bedrooms and there are only 18 of them. We were very fortunate to be offered one of these apartments after our initial disappointment of the road vista. We came 500kms to relax at the beach not a roadway or public thoroughfare!
This "resort" is in a developing area. Currently you really have to drive to all facilities (shops, bars, eating). This may change as other nearby resorts are developed to include shops etc. The next door Surf Club is a half built disaster. The appartments are great, well fitted out and easily accommodate up to 6 people. The reseption desk does not represent the standard of Mantra resorts in general. "Kiosk" is a misnoma.
The staff were exceptional, very accomodating, I would recommend the Mantra to everybody, we will be back again
We found these apartments were very beatuful and a lovely peaceful time away. Even though there were a few childen around you very rarely heard them.
I found this establishment to be of incredible quality and value for money with a fantastic fitout
Only problem we encountered was that we booked a 12 noon check in and the room was not ready. We then had to occupy our time for 2 hours in the rain waiting to get into the room. There was no appology which was poor customer service.

Luxurious accomodation, excellent location for the beach.
It was quite luxurious unit, great courtyard for children as we were on the ground floor. Some previous occupant had left dirty coffee mugs face in the drawer and once management were alerted, a housekeeping person arived and cleaned them, leaving us extra dishwashing detergent sachets. Very friendly people and having your own BBQ on the patio is great.
I thought it was perfect, wouls stay again no worries. One small thing maybe some lights in the spa for night time use. Say blue like the pool.
Very relaxing peaceful resort
we were very impressed with the size of the apartment we stayed in which made it very comfortable for us. the only thing that was missing was some spa bath bomb stuff or bath solution to put in the spa. We absolutley loved it and i would recommend the stay there to anyone interested. Thankyou for a lovely stay. Linda xxx
