Peach Hotel Hsinchu

Hotel was in a great location. Staff was friendly, however no one spoke any English. Hotel was rated non smoking and there were non smoking signs in hotel. First room smelled so smoky. Burn marks were all over the carpet and comforter also had burn marks. Moved us to another room, but still had same problem. On bedside table was a menu for various sex items and free condoms. Apparently this hotel also rents rooms out for 3 hours at a time for whatever reason. We came back from dinner with our son, room smelled like smoke and you could smell smoking from other rooms and we could hear people next door rather loudly. Our son's friend who is from Taiwan called the front desk for us. We were given a refund as we had paid them in full upon check in. We did lose the amount we had paid for the first night. Excellent location and ok if you don't mind smoking and other activities.
