Tourist accomodation is today one of the most largely developing industries. Here in the UK the need for providing tourists with quality in respect of accomodation has always been the key issue. Quality for tourists is measured in terms of hotel service and convenience of transport towards London's sights. Adding to this highly affordable room rates, a hotel is adding value to its customer's money. The recently refurbished 70-bedroom New Pembury hotel based in London's Finsbury Park is providing its customers with all the above mentioned benefits. Its well known service and low prices combined with its location ( 2 minutes walk from Finsbury Park Underground Station which connects directly to all major Central London's Underground Stations and also directly to Heathrow Airport) are terms of quality that bring its customers in an advantage position and are the reasons why the hotel is chosen repeatedly by business and other customers both local and throughtout Europe.

Pembury Hotel London Guest Reviews

4 out of 5

I have stayed at the Pembury for the last 4 consecutive years. It is a good value basic hotel in a very good London location. Ammenities and breakfast are more than reasonable, public transport very good. Only complaint is the noise from other patrons in other rooms can be annoying

3.6 out of 5

After some confusion at reception, when we were allocated three single beds, rather than double and a single, the room was a pleasant surprise. It had the biggest bathroom I have ever experienced in a London hotel, with a large bath and shower. The bed was comfortable, although the window in the room was an old, wooden affair that took a bit of shifting. Breakfast was basic but adequate. It is a short walk from Finsbury Park tube station on the Victoria Line. Overall, pretty good value for £85 mid-week.

A cheap, anonomous, multi national, somewhat run down hotel in an excellent position next to Finsbury Park and the Tube. The free secure (ish) parking and simple breakfast are definite pluses. Missing bathroom tiles and noisy doors/floors a negative. Overall worth the money, but we`re not that fussy. Convenience and parking made our decision to return to the Pembury.

This hotel was a base for a football weekend to watch Arsenal. It provided everything needed for that, namely a bed and somewhere to drop a bag. The room was basic but clean. A bit noisy at night as our room at the front of the hotel was right on the busy Seven Sisters Road. breakfast basic but also adequate. Good location for transport and only 20mins from the City Centre. Overall, we got VFM.

lift was broken. No staff were available to help me carry my heavy suitcase up two flights of stairs. Poor decor. Otherwise, facilities were good, bedding was clean and comfortable, everything we needed, room was nice and warm. Breakfast was a buffet in the next door sister hotel and consisted of cereal, cheese, toast, tea, coffee and orange squash. I had to ask for drinking water.

For a weekend stay on ones own , when going to a match, and where the "lap of luxury" is not an issue, this hotel is fine. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Though sparse, the room is ok. It has the basics-bed tv and en-suite. Given that there are a number of hotels along 7 Sisters Road that have closed down in recent years, the pembury deserves to be given business. What is truly ideal about this Hotel is its proximity to underground.

Just right in front of Finsbury Park and close to the station, the hotel was just as expected. The only pity it has no elevator and my single room was on the third floor. However, ideal for short stays especially those visitors who plan to watch Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Hotel was located opposite Finsbury Park and 2 mins from the tube! Fortunately they also have a car park which they kindly let us use before and after booking in. The staff were very helpful and the rooms very clean! The only let down was the 'continental' breakfast which was served in the hotel next door and consisted of soggy lightly toasted toast with jam or cheese and cornflakes! Overall very pleased, good value for money!

The hotel was very basic, but as we were in the area for just one night for a concert it served it's purpose. The man on reception was welcoming and found us a downstairs room as reuested, but unfortunately was unable to acquire another pillow as the cleaners had gone home. The bed was clean and comfortable (after we had made it), however the rest of the furniture was shabby, and there was no wardrobe, just a curtain and shelves. The ensuite was awful, just a hand sink, loo and cracked shower tray, nice clean white towels though. Breakfast was served in a nearby hotel which was fine. Pity we were in a room by a fire door which banged continually for most of the night as noisy guests returned. Great value for money hotel though.

My ensuite twin room was clean but very basic. Cheap but clean matress - bought my own pillows, as those provided had seen better days. The communal staircase was not quite so clean with a couple of loose treads which could cause an accident in the future. Continental style breakfast available in another building was very limited self-serve.

Inital room I was allocated was shocking - obviously used LOTS: fittings falling apart and next to main road, so very noisy. Asked to be moved to quieter room as I needed to be up early next morning and was moved to a much better room: much quieter too. Room is clearly reserved for when hotel is less busy (my stay was midweek). Having said all that, both rooms looked very clean, though decor was as tired as you may expect: but overall GOOD value and good location as tube very close by
