Hotel offers nice and inexpensive accommodation situated in a quiet part of the city centre and 10 minutes walking from the Old Town. A good starting point for your trip around Prague. You can easily reach most of the famous monuments in just a few minutes. If you don't feel like walking, you can take tram as well. Each of 40 rooms has private bath with shower and toilet (some rooms also have bathtubs), satellite TV, free WiFi wireless internet, night lamps. Some of the rooms incl. 4 attic rooms are equipped with air-conditioning. Guests can borrow a mobile phone to use anywhere during their entire stay free of charge. PC with high speed internet access is available for guests in the lobby - free. Wi-Fi in the whole hotel area free of charge for our guests. At the reception you can also ask for coffe and tea making facilities, hair dryer, iron, alarm clock, free of charge. The pension Prague City owns secure parking, suitable also for a bus. Optional buffet breakfast is served from 7.30 till 10.30. The reception is open from 7.30 till 22.00. No curfew. Guests receive their own keys. All major payment cards are accepted. In the neighbourhood there is quite a few restaurants and bars with a large offer of typical Czech meals and Czech beer as well as international cuisine. Nearby, there is a large park called Riegrovy sady. Pets welcome: 150 CZK (about 6 EUR) per pet per night.

Getting there:Tram station Husinecka (150 m from the pension - trams number 5, 9, 26 during the day and number 55, 58 after midnight) is only 1 stop from Wilson's Station (Hlavní nádraží). From Prague airport - by public city transport: take bus number 119 to the final stop called Dejvicka, here take metro line A (green line) to 4th stop called Mustek. Get off subway and take tram number 9 to Lipanska (4th stop). Get off tram, walk down Seifertova street, at church turn right to Milicova street and then first left to Stitneho street, the pension on the right, at number 13. Alternatively, we offer car transport from airport which costs 650 CZK one way (1 to 4 persons) or 900 CZK one way (5 to 8 persons), including driver waiting for you at the airport with your surname on a paper in his hands. From main train station - Take tram number 5, 9 or 26 and go one stop to Husinecka station or two stops to Lipanska station. Follow the instructions above. We offer car transport from train station.
Check-in Procedure:If check-in is expected after 23:00 (11:00 PM) please let us know in advance. The receptionist normally waits for all customers with confirmed reservations even after the closing hours (after 11:00 PM). If the reception is closed at the time of your arrival please give the receptionist some time to come (ring the bell).
Car parking:Pension has its own secure parking suitable also for a bus.
Child Policy:Children up to 5 years old are free of charge, Children from 5 to 12 years old receive a 50% discount, Baby cot available for 100 CZK (about 4 EUR) per night
Pension Prague City Hotel met my needs perfectly. Not luxurious, by any means, but I don't need luxury when what I'm really looking for is somewhere affordable, comfortable and convenient to sleep for a night. The front desk is very personable and helpful. ikov is one of the great working class neighborhoods of Prague, and close to the center. Transportation is convenient and easy to use. The secure, off-street parking is too expensive, in my opinion, but I was told what street parking options were available and chose to pay, so I can't say there wasn't a choice about it. I'll likely use this hotel again.
Not at center of most tourist spoys 4 tran stops away but hotel reception very nice and helpful.good breakfast.rooms very basic no frills but clean and quiet.
The directions to the hotel are very good, but get off at the Lipanska tram stop as it is closer and a downhill walk. The hotel has no lift so be prepared to carry heavy bags up the stairs. Breakfast is ntaken in the Rock & Blues Bar opposite
there wasn't any frigo in the room, but the Wifi connenction was very useful
Very basic hotel in a convenient location - thankful for the fan in the room during some seriously hot nights.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The receptionist was very helpful. we didn't rate the breakfast much.
This hotel is in process of installing wi-fi in all rooms, which is good news. The annexe, where I spent 1 night, is round the corner and fine, but the rooms at the top are a (very long) long climb. If you are assigned rooom Q prepare for some exercise. The staff of the hotel are exceptionally friendly and "normal" with the many guests.
Nice clean hotel. No air conditioning, but it stayed pretty cool in the room and a fan was provided. 10min walk to old square.
The reception already closed at 10 pm. Thus, it can be difficult to get there from the airport when arriving in the evening.
