Peppers Beach Club Port Douglas

Peppers is a beautiful resort, very centrally located in the Port Douglas CBD area and a short walk to the beach. We are locals are were very impressed. We didnt get to spend a lot of time there as we stayed in town for a function, but the pool is beautiful and we had brekky in the morning which was great and the staff were all more than helpful. Recommend it.

Beautiful pool, great location.

Location to Main Centre is great ! Able to walk wherever we needed to go. Staff freindly and obliging. We had Spa Room which was lovely but could have been more private around spa area.

Good clean hotel, with a nice pool. Close to the beach and an easy walk into Port Douglas.

Great hotel.... however it was a shame about the restaurant. It could have been so much better. The quality was not as good as you would expect from such a hotel.

Overall the stay was pleasant. Understandably the hotel was quiet due to being low season, which was great for peace and quiet, however on two occasions the bar closed early leaving us with no alcoholic beverages to consume whilst relaxing by the pool. The pool is fantastic, lagoon style with cute and comfy seats and the gym was adequate although the weights weren't all working. he staff were friendly, some more so than others but all always available to provide assistance. I would recommend booking tours on arrival as the concierge can get overwhelmed. Same goes for the spa. Overall I would recommend Peppers PD, the spa room was comfortable and a guest umbrella was certainly utilised. It is very close to the shops, so walking is not problem and the restaurant is open most nights with tasty BBQ option.

Excellent hotel, great location in Port Douglas, would really recommend. Very close to the main Macrossan Street and the beach.

This resort is perfect for couples or even couples with a small child. The pool area is stunning. The spa suites are not huge but they feel spacious and very comfortable. The spa on the balcony can be used as a cool plunge pool on hot days, or for relaxing in at sunset. Continental breakfast had a great variety with home cooked croissants and ham, cheese and lots of fruit. The location is fabulous - 5 minute walk to town or the beach. Definately the nicest of the affordable resorts in Port Douglas.

Could have been cleaner but the room itself was quite nice.

Lovely place to stay. The rooms are great, although we had no pots and pans to cook with but we did have an outside BBQ which we used. All the comforts of home, TV, music DVD. The pool is just gorgeous, swimming up to the bar is great and you can sit under the waterfall, quite amazing really.. It is so close to the restaurants and bars at Macrossan Street. Would definately go back there again if we went to Port Douglas. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Highly recommend Peppers.Pool is fantastic,we had a studio room that had a spa on the verandah which was lovely.Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Great choice and would stay her again.

Overall lovely hotel. Rooms were very clean and kept that way for the 5 days we were there. My only complaint was the pool area. Limited sunlounges, which were very ratty and unkept. The hotel towels from guests were left there for the entire afternoon once used and dirty plates, glasses the same.. The staff were fantastic and always very helpful Would not go back to peppers port douglas but it was worth the visit

One of the nicest properties in Port Douglas, the rooms are very Glam, furnished in the latest and greatest stuff (but maybe too much furniture). Walk to beach and shops, Lovely lagoon pool and lounges, staff very friendly, restaurant needs work though, very casual with a limited menu.

Unfortunately cleaning our room seemed too hard for this hotel. Stayed there 3 days, couldn't get the room cleaned one of them despite being out from 10am to 6pm. Hotel staff didn't seem to care about this very much despite being a 'premium resort'. The brush-off attitude from the front end left me wondering if they'd even understood why such poor service was an issue. Some levels don't have lift access from the car park, so this might be of concern to some.

This resort is so nice, its location is great for walking into the main street for dinner or for a cheeky ice cream later in the evening! The staff are wonderful and the pool is the best i have ever seen! Highly recommended - will definitely be back. Would only book with the discounted rates that Rates To Go offer as their rack rates are quite pricey. Massive plasma tv in the one bed suite - definitely stay here!
