Peppers Beach Club & Spa Palm Cove

The lady at reception was friendly but completely ignored anything we said, even though we told her we had stayed at the hotel before and were actually a local couple out for a 'private' weekend, she spoke over the top of us and treated us as if we were children who didn't know where we were. The King Spa room was part of a dual key appartment, the 'spa' room is very small and there is no room to sit other than on the bed itself, no space for a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the newspaper or a cold drink. The spa is actually out on the balcony as is the only chair and table setting. Don't expect any privacy there as the occupants in the adjoining room can open their shutters sparating the rooms and say hello whilst you are in the spa. The room was clammy due to the wet weather and felt cold, even with the air conditioner turned up to 25 degrees.

Amazing beach pool. Great location. Very close to good restaurants and bars.

We provided feedback to reception about one of the reception staff who wasn't overly helpful, otherwise, all fantastic!

We stayed over Xmas,they have a lite staff during this time with only 1 of their restos open & only express h-keeping. We were given a letter with this news & if you wanted a reg cleaning you just had to request it. We had checked in late at nite & the room looked as it had a cursory cleaning but we found hair in the bathroom, dust where we were supposed to put our clothes, so we requested a full cleaning for the next day. When we returned from touring this hadn't been done & I asked again for the next day & was told that they would have to talk to the Mgr & see if they could accommodate us. Still no service. When we took our kids down to eat dinner the resto was full since they didn't have staff. They finally sat us and we were able to have dinner. This is the Service Industry &the bread & butter is during the holidays. If anything there should be more staff to service the higher occupancy and if you have to pay holiday pay so be it, isn't that why the rates are higher on holidays?

Very nice location/pool facilities. Great location, ideal for families with children as they have the sandy lagoon pool. Furniture in room a little tired and in need of an upgrade. All staff were excellent.

Excellent facilities, beautiful accommodation. Comfortable beds, great service! We loved it and hope to return again.

Great hotel, staff very atentive and friendly - just as you woud expect. Keep clear of the day spa - service was not great there.

For the ultimate indulgance in luxury, at a premium price of course. I loved every minute spent in the Ocean View Spa room, but staying longer than a weekend will damage even the healthiest of bank accounts. The spa was great, and the whole room just oozed class.

Great hotel. Loved the spa tub on the balcony. Peppers has a large pool in the center of the hotel with lots of children swimming and playing. They gave us an upgrade to a nice quiet room in the back. Great for a honeymoon and thanks for the free champagne!

A beautiful hotel, with great pools for children.

Very pleasant location with good facilities although some parts of the hotel are looking a bit tired. The ocean view rooms can be a bit noisy at night time with the restaurant/bar activity downstairs. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

Very nice rooms, though the one bedroom rooms with a spa that don't face the ocean are a bit small. I would definitely return. Aside from nice furnishings and a very comfortable bed, the hotel has excellent restaurants, the nicest pool area in Palm Cove, and little nicities such as milk in your fridge for tea and coffee, a pillow menu for you to select your perfect pillow and of course the fantastic spas on the balconies.

VERY IMPRESSIVE. THE NEW RESTAURANTS HELP MAKE IT A COMPLETE RESORT. PALM COVE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SETTING IN AUSTRALIA.

The resort is beautiful and the team at reception are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are great.

Lovely facilities, excellent service and a real pleasure to stay.

All the staff provided excellent service and made all guest fell welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Whilst they were always availble to assist you they did not infringe on your privacy, one of the friendliest hotels I have stayed at. The only facility missing was a restaurant for both snacks and formal dining. They are in the process of building these and also a providing bar facilities. The only draw back was having to outside the hotel to dine or have a drink

Excellent resort - terrific service and facilities (especially the pool area). This resort has prime position in Palm Cove and definately deserves a visit. If we ever stay in Palm Cove again it will be at this lovely resort.

All in all a fantastic hotel. Will be even better when it has a restaurant and the pool bar is open - staff tell me this will be around March/April 2004.

Excellent hotel! Staff were really friendly and helpful, location was great, room was great, will definately be looking to go back to this one!
