The resort is in an amazing part of the South Island, so the location was perfect. However, the room was extra small. It barely fit the king bed with room to walk around. We had dinner at the restaurant which was expensive and the portions were small. The service was particularly bad.
Excellent facilities. Convenient to shops and restaurants. Fantastic location. Staff very helpful.

Room was a little small but very clean and cosy. Check in was simple and straight forward. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was good. Walking distance to Lake Tekapo
Stayed with these guys twice over two years and both times I absolutely loved the place. First time we had a full three bedroom apartment shared among six, second time was upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment for two adults. Haven't tried the hotel rooms. Would definitely stay here again, such an achingly beautiful place at Lake Tekapo and this resort just fits in so well.
Paying for the Peppers brand name here. Rooms very good, great facilities, nice restaurant. Hot chocolate and cookie on arrival nice touch! (and Christmas in July!)
Good location, great service, clean and neat
Beautiful food and great menu choice in the dining room.
Very good hotel. The rooms are small but very well equipped.
The resort is beautiful. Great front desk staff. We booked a hotel room and the size is a bit small. The parking is right in front of our room which is great.
With very modern styling, this resort is unusual in NZ, but beautiful. A five minute walk from the town center, it's in a great location. My favorite feature was that it had free laundry open all night which was a boon to a traveler of many days. The bed was also luxuriously comfortable.
The resort was beautiful and modern, very clean. They upgraded us to a lake view room which was delightful with views of Lake Tekapo. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Lovely view of the lake. Most staff are great except for one of the breakfast team which I felt like I was troubling her too much to make a coffee! Great front desk staff and knowlegeable and helpful. Rooms were nice. Great stop between christchurch and queenstown.
Enjoyed our stay.We had a Hotel Room which was small but very well appointed.Staff were friendly and helpful.Would recommend.
Our room was very comfortable with great views of the lake. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Excellent Hotel in good location. Brand new facility and amazing view. Absolutely recommended.
The Resort was new and modern and yet cosy and welcoming. It was well set out and in a great location. The rooms were great with a lovely bath. The bed was really comfortable. We were upgraded to a lake room which was fantastic. The restaurant looked great. The only negative is that were we were supposed to park was full and we had to park a little further away from the room. No assigned parking. But overall, if I was ever staying at Lake Tekapo again, i would definitely stay at Peppers and will now look at other Peppers when booking accommodation. Highly recommended.
The hotel was very modern, at a good location and very warm (electric blanket, heat pump, floor heating). Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. However, the room was very small and there was some rattling noise outside the window. Also the shower had an odd design so the water splashes out.
On our trip around the South Island in December 2009 we ended our time at this fabulous resort. The entire experience from check in to our breakfast the next day was superb. We were upgraded to a quiet suite without asking, and found the facilities in our room aesthetically beautiful, and very comfortable. We'll be back if we are fortunately enought.
I Enjoyed very nice holiday at this place. I love here and I'll be there again. Thanks.
Room & Amenities were very good but overpriced. We got a much better deal in Queenstown because there is competition there. Most of the rooms appeared empty so they should drop the price and attract some more punters. Most other accomodation in town is of a much lesser standard, so there is simply no competition if you want to stay in a nice facility.
