"Disappointing! you have to drag your luggage over gravel to get to your room. Bathroom size was huge but rest of the room was quite small. If you don't get a room with a view of the lake; you are looking at the carpark - overpriced for what you received." - Anonymous
"Inter City buses stop at the village and access to Peppers was difficult on foot via the gravel path. It also entailed crossing a busy highway.We appreciated very much the assistance with transport back to the bus on our departure.It would be more convenient for people with their own transport.
Within the complex there should be continuous concrete paths to all units.
Staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs.

"The apartments were beautifully appointed and well equipped. However we were unable to get a table in the restaurant because of lack of staff. they did do 'room service' which involved carrying the food ourselves from the restaurant to the apartment. One member of staff was very helpful, the rest could not have cared less.
The location was ideal with a great view of the most beautiful lake, but the sign to the hotel was only visible from one direction on the road causing us to pass the hotel on the way in and have to turn back to look for it. This waste of time was crucial as everything in the resort seemed to close down around 8.30pm. However the accomodation was 'classy' and if returning I would ensure getting to Lake Tekapo earlier.
