Important Information: Christchurch Earthquake In the early hours of the morning on Saturday 4 September, Christchurch was affected by a major earthquake. Peppers Clearwater Resort received minimal damage. Guests planning to visit Peppers Clearwater Resort in the near future, should be aware that while there was minimal impact at the property, that the surrounding area, especially the Christchurch CBD, received some major damage and will be in a state of repair for upcoming weeks.

Getting there:From the Airport to Peppers Clearwater Resort * Leave the airport and turn left at the first roundabout onto Russley Road and head straight along it. * Stay on Russley Road until it becomes Johns Road. You will see signs from Johns Road to turn into Clearwater Resort. * Travelling time to the hotel from the airport is about 7 minutes.
Check-in Procedure:Drive into Peppers Clearwater Resort along Clearwater Lane and check in at Reception in the Clubhouse. If your arrival time is before 2.00pm we will do our best to have the room ready. Please do advise of a late arrival.
Car parking:All accommodation has its own parking space, whether it is a remote controlled garage or covered carport where you can securely park your vehicle.
Child Policy:Accommodation under 12 years and under is free of charge when sharing with an adult and using existing bedding. Cot and highchair available, $20 per stay, payable direct.
Well worth the extra effort to find this place. A hidden gem but oh so relaxing and with everything I needed.
More expensive then other hotels we stayed at during our 2 weeks for what you get - however, what you get is very nice.

Great golf and lovely breakfast dining area overlooking. Rooms with spectacular views of the southern alps.
We stayed in a motel type unit which was a last minute deal and reasonable reduced in price. However, we would not have paid full price to stay here, the room although modern was unclean and furniture shabby and dirty. Most surfaces were covered in dust and we had to clean the handles of the kitchen units and the glasses before use. However location and surroundings were good.
rooms were clean and tastefully decorated, however ours had nowhere to put our (large) suitcases, and nowhere to seat the two of us apart from the bed. Reception staff very average, however Buli our waiter in the restaurant was great. (and what a smile!)
Restaurant was booked out when we went. Small for the number of guests possible. Would be worth booking in to the restaurant when booking into the room.
reception assistance very good, not impressed with restaurant staff who were very dismissive when we wished to have coffee, drinks and food at about 9pm, rather rude, but the room service staff who subsequently dealt with our request were very pleasant and the food a good standard.
The room service dinner of fish & chips was just awful, the chips were cold and soggy and the fish not a lot better. For $25 we were very disappointed for a hotel and restaurant of this calibre. other than that I love it and would stay again
Service in restaurant was a bit slow and menu was limited. Some lighter menu choices could be added to the evening menu ie salads, pastas.
Fantastic resort in quiet location. Room overlooked lake and golf course. French doors leading to individual jetty. Each apartment had own remote controlled garage. Room included immaculate bathroom, huge plasma TV. Extremely helpful staff. Highly recommended.
A lovely hotel within a golf resort. Extensive grounds so it was a little disappointing that they did not have a swimming pool/spa or a gym.
Views over the lake to the surrounding countryside and golf course were stunning.
We had a lovely stay, and thought the Resort was just delightful. If I can make one comment, (and it is not only your Hotel, that has this fault) The basin's need to be cleaned with some abrahasive (such as Ajax or a posder cleaner) when you use the basin and the water clings you know it is not clean, and it is the grease residue, that the water clings to, so easy to fix this problem. But overall a delightful Resort, and one I would definitely come back to and spend more time.

Beatutiful setting - stay there next visit.
1. Though we booked 2 suites (in the same [your website] booking), we weren't given adjoining rooms. They said we had to make a special request - a feature obviously not available on the website. 2. Rates for an extra person (we booked 2 twin suites for 5 adults) were clearly stated as being free. However, at check-out, they tried to charge an additional NZ$30 for the extra bed we never requested. (The large sofa in either suite's downstairs lounge would have been more than adequate.) 3. At check-in, we asked if breakfast was included. The receptionist didn't know and said she'd get back to us. She never did. 4. Suite#1's garage was partly occupied by a spare bed, and we couldn't park in it. Suite#2's garage door wouldn't open, so we parked outside the garage. By the next morning, they'd opened the garage door before we awoke. However, as we'd parked near the door, the lower portion was jammed below our car bumper (it opens outwards at the base). Fortunately, the car wasn't damaged.
Room was very spacious, and clean. Only complaint would be the distance between unit and main lobby where you dine.
Great location and beautiful rooms. Did not quite have the facilities to cater for the size of the conference group I was with.
