We stayed 4 days, the room was very cold without any heating,maybe becoz it was snowing the 2 previous days,but should have heater.room were smelly though,going 2 places were easy using public bus,u have 2 ask people.food around area plenty chineses rest.staff were friendly and speak good english.thanks 2 people like Kevin,Alice. breakfast not much choice ,only bread and cakes.wil stay there again.
We recently stayed in this hotel, and found that the staff s very helpful - this could partly compensate for the fact that the hotel badly needs renovation and painting, new carpets (to mention a few). The location is very good, so if you are looking for a low-budget centrally located hotel and not keen on other things, this is a good choice for you.

We stayed in this hotel for a week. The best part was the friendly front desk staff who understood English and went out of their way to help. Room cleaning could have been better also variety of meals at the hotel as there isn't many eating places near hotel. I would recommend this hotel to others, price, location to other main attractions and tours booked from hotel were excellent - cheap, mini van with English speaking guide.
Reception are very friendly! Helped us with all our enquiries! Even helped us to locate our camera when we left it in the taxi :) It's location is very central. Close to bus station, shops and restaurants. Will definately go back here next time in Beijing.
The rooms are comfortable, but the plumbing system in their toilets are not very good for a newly renovated hotel--the flushing of the toilet is not so efficient, very slow or gets easily clogged. The bathrooms also lack enough hooks/racks to hang towels. There are no soap dishes by the shower area either. However these are minor and can easily be taken care of by the management. I must say that they are very friendly and accommodating. They can also understand and communicate in English which was a great help.
