Pestana Levante Hotel Armacao de Pera

"Beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the town and the sea. The rooms are well appointed if a little small. Everything works. The staff are a little cool but then again this is Portugal and in my experience this coolness is nationwide. The facilities around the pool are great and you can walk down some steps onto a wonderful beach. It;s clean and there are a number of cafes and restaurants on the beach. The bar is well equipped and there the service was prompt. Parking is free and on site with an overflow onto a private road in front of the hotel. We liked the idel of a massage and in fact had several from a really chrming guy who speaks a nuimber of languages. he is fully conversant with many different types of massage. prioces are correct for this type of service (between €40-67) for up to 1 1/4 hours. There is a small gym but a good sauna and hamman. All in all we had 3 very good days at this hotel. I would reommend it. " - Anonymous
