Ca´n Calco is a traditional majorcan house which has been refurbished to preserve its original character. Our small hotel is located at the foot of the wonderful "Serra de Tramuntana" (a spectacular mountain range), in the centre of an tiny and beatiful village called Moscari. Where the people enjoy a slower pace of life and where ancient traditions of the island still continue in a very own manner. Amazing views of the mountains can be enjoyed from the beautiful garden and swimming pool area. All our five double rooms (Junior Suites) have been individually decorated to get a quiet and relaxing ambience without renouncing the comfort of high technology: satellite TV, phone and internet access, safe, heating, air conditioning, minibar, a central music system...... The bathrooms of the hotel are all fully equipped with hydromassage baths, hair-driers and a range of cleansing products. Getting there:From the airport take the motorway to PALMA. Leave at the second exit onto the VIA CINTURA towards ANDRATX and follow the ring-road until the exit marked INCA. When you reach INCA, you take the second exit to inca.At the second roundabout you turn right and at the next roundabout turn left towards SELVA-LLUC. Follow this road through SELVA. When you go out of SELVA you find on the right a signal that takes you to MOSCARI. In MOSCARI go strait ahead until you arrive a "La plaza del pueblo". CAN CALCO is in this square.

Ca'n Calco is a small, personal, boutique hotel in an excellent position within easy reach of great restaurants. The village of Moscari is typical. Wendy the manager is Dutch, thus speaks several languages and is very friendly and helpful. Our week was totally relaxing and enjoyable. We would thoroughly recommend Ca'n Calco to anyone looking to chill.
Last minute cheap booking so good value for money. Situated in the centre of Majorca at edge of village, surrounded on 2 sides by almond orchards looking across the countryside to the distant mountains. Ver peaceful and easy to access all areas of the island. A large terrace overlooks this view, where we had a good buffet breakfast each morning, a swimming pool on the lower terrace. The attractive large bedroom had bathroom en-suite. Some rooms have a small terrace overlooking the main one with garden chairs and every room overlooks the countryside. The modern interior, formerly farm buildings, is light and spacious. The cellar, which one sees through a glass floor, is a lounge with bottles of wine which one signs for to drink. The owner, who speaks excellent English, has a fish restaurant with good food but being a set 4 course fish menu, with no choice, was too much for us. So after 2 meals we ate elsewhere.
This is an absolutely wonderful place. Great furnishings, lovely small pool. Stunning setting and very nice and helpful owners. We had dinner there once and it was excellent. Chill-out music and incense, great service. A very romantic place. My only slight comment concerns the toilet, which wasn't functioning properly. However, we didn't ask them to fix it... if we had, I'm sure they would have done so immediately! We'll definitely go back. We've named it our "home" in Mallorca.
