THis hotel has the greatest bathroom I have ever encountered, including all Hiltons, Sheratons, Four Seasons and Hyatts I stayed in. A wonderfull shower! The bedroom itself is absolutely fine as well, the location is great, next to Puerto do Sol. Can recommend this hotel without reservation and will stay in it again whenever I am in Madrid,

Excellent location, reception were helpful and polite.Word of warning,do not accept a room on the first floor, you can hear everything that is going on in the lobby area all night,no bar or reataurant, they seem to have plucked the four stars on their door from the sky as all it seems to be is a glorified bed and breakfast.

I stayed there with my kids and they enjoyed sleeping in the bunk beds while watching their favorite show on cable. The toilet and bath was nice too. The internet was reliable and they even offer free printing of documents. I have to note that half of their staff were very helpful and courteous and some were oblivious to their guests. We didn't have breakfast there because of the price. They should opt to adjust the price to be at par with the restaurants just around the corner. Overall, we will definitely come back.

I booked this hotel with some trepidation after reviewing the comments favourable and unfavourable from other past visitors. I thought it was wonderful, although it must be said that I was lucky in my allocated room which was on the front corner of the hotel, overlooking Starbucks on one side and the Teatro Alcazar on the other. The excercise bike in the room was a surprise. It was 20m from Sevilla metro station. The reception was up a steepish flight of stairs , but there is a lift from street level to first floor level ie above reception level, which links in to the main lifts to the upper floors. The room was clean, had 2 bedside lights ,plasma TV, IBM thinkpad computer and wifi for my own computer. . Most importantly the staff were extremely helpful at check in and later after I lost my wallet(be extra careful in Madrid) and contacted the police and credit card company on my behalf. Breakfast was comprehensive and only 9 euros. . I will be staying there again.

Modern fit-out in an historical building very close to Puerto Del Sol (centre) of Madrid. Our first room was nice and spacious but was on the first floor and v noisy with night time revellers. Main problem was, the heating did not work in our room. We asked for extra blankets but they never arrived. We asked the next day to be moved to another room - was told to prepare our bags and the staff would move us and when we returned from our day and could move to our new room. Unfortunately, I think we were moved to the worst room in the hotel - very tiny with a view of the next door building. At least it was warm. Breakfast not included but offered a reduced rate of EU$9 (instad of EU$15). Not that great - so we had b/fast at a cafe on the street - much cheaper and better.

Very nice large high tech room with view! We reserved a high tech room but reception wanted to give us a smaller room. Not so good!

Rooms are pretty small but the bathroom with a shower is impressive. Also the location is very convenient if you want to stay right in the city center.

Perfect for travellers who intend to be out and about all day in Madrid and are seeking a nicely decorated, clean room in excellent location. Not for travellers who want to relax or chill out in their hotel as it lacks the ambiance and facilities such a bar, restaurant, in-room tea/coffee, selection of tv channels etc.

Located in the city center at just 5 min walking from Plaza Sol and the bar area around Plaza Santa Ana. Renovated hotel with stylish well equiped rooms, including f.e. free internet connection, LCD TV, airco and luxury bathroom. Because its an old building, rooms are all different size and can vary quite a lot. So ask the hotel to see their free room options when you check in to get the best one.

Correcto en todos los sentidos, localización muy buena y practica, cercano a todos los lugares de interés. Solo lamentar que el hall es un poco frio, pero las habitaciones estan bien, modernas.

1- the difference between the high tec rooms are not comprehensiv.I got room 601....my friends got 604 (standard room).Room 604 was much bigger then 601 but the price was less ????? The room 601 was said to have a view...what has a view to do with high tec ?????? Only after complain they put a PC in 601 ...only the second day ! 2- The location is very central but the garbagge next to the hoteldoor is very depressing,unacceptable.... 3- breakfast is too expensiv...we went out .You should try to keep your guests in the hotel thru attractive breakfast-rates.

The hotel is very well located in central Madrid. The rooms are new, very clean and are bright and airy. If you are a non smoker make sure you request a non smoking floor as the smoking floor rooms are smell strongly of cigarettes. The best views are from the rooms at the front of the hotel by far. Overall we had a great stay here and were very impressed with the quality of the rooms.

Nice suave hotel. The room was very nice with contemporary design and a free safe. The only weird thing was that the tv was mostly in german, while in the capital of Spain. Great view from the room, free internet in the lobby, and an awesome location.

The hotel has a great central location, just a couple of minutes away from Porta Del Sol and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend others to stay in this hotel.

Great location. Enough space for 3 adults in one room. New bathroom w/ sink outside bathroom/shower. Loads of windows w/ great curtains to block out light for sleep. Quiet even though on busy street. Expensive breakfast. Could have had more brochures available and a larger lobby desk. Would stay there again.
