There is no internet access in the rooms which is really a turn out. Otherwise nice stay even if the buffets could be better with more food variety.

Good value hotel in good location - provided you have a car.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay here; very friendly helpful staff. The hotel offers a free shuttle service a few times per day to the local town/beaches situated a few kms away.

An excellent hotel in all respects and superb value

we were staying there only one night,but we wouldn`t like to come back to this hotel. first of all,night porter wasn`t helpfull and nice at all. in the morning, the receptionist was talking with some people about the weather for ages when i was waiting for her to check out. but the worst was breakfast. not even caffee tasted like coffee. we aren`t fussy at all,but we couldn`t eat anything there. the room itself was nice with a big bathroom.

It was a surprise. Excellent hotel for those who have a car. Price worthy. Close to sea and easy to get highways for other place such as Alfubiera and Faro Airport. Good food and wide variety for breakfast. Relaxing hotel. Huge rooms including big bathroom and VERY CLEAN. Felt very safe and had a realxing holiday.

We stayed at Pinhal Do Sol Hotel Quarteira in July 08. We wanted somewhere very quiet and that is what we got. We expected 3 star and that is what we got. We heard compaints from other guests about this and that - we found the staff wonderful very friendly and very helpful. I don't think those that complained asked for help or assistance. Other than a small area of seafront Quarteira was not very pretty at all. Cabs to Quarteira and Villamoura were reasonably priced. We got the rest we wanted and loved the hotel staff - when we are next exhausted we would not have a problem returning to Pinhal Sol Hotel that we thought was good value for the money paid

Excellent for all those who have a car (it is far from the sea and the center). Very nice swimming pools. Some room renovation needed. Very good price

Rooms good but location very remote. Courtesy bus to beaches was rather haphazard - not enough runs to collect in the evening the people it had taken out in the morning, and a very grouchy driver. Restaurant food was of low quality with no alternative restaurants within walking distance. All in all OK for 1 night but not recommended for a longer stay. Good outdoor heated pool though !

We only stayed at this hotel for one night but we were very happy with it. The room was very large and spacious and very clean. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, we have no complaints whatsoever. Breakfast was included and it was very very good. Lots to choose from and plenty of everything. The only comment I would make is that there were no facilities in the room to make tea or coffee. I would definately stay there again.

Although slightly difficult to find, as their direction signs could be improved, it is well worth the trouble. Rooms are very generous in size and are very clean and comfortable. Although the hotel was fairly full, there was little noise to disturb. The buffet breakfast was ample in quantity and quality, with continuing supplies of freshly prepared cooked food throughout the session. It would be difficult to find better value for money.

Very pleased with the hotel. Always a gamble booking somewhere without seeing it or recommendation, however I was more than happy with the accommodation and facilities. Excellent value.

Huge rooms, fit mainly for summer. A bit cold in winter. Nice breakfast, given the price.
