"NOt very nice. Old run down hotel hard to find. Wont answer door. NO lift and extremely steep stairs. Service not much help more interested in playing on the computer than serving customers. Smelly bathroom which had no ventilation. Had to clean own floor in bathroom as drains didn't work. NO towels supplied. Access extremely difficult to get to room and like a rabbit warren to get into and out off. Probably the worst place I have ever paid to stay at." - Anne Hilton

Train takes you from Schiphol Airport to Central Station Amsterdam.

"Plantage Kerklaan" (7th stop, incl. Central Station; tramtickets are sold on the tram)
BY CAR:
on the eastern section of the ringroad Amsterdam (A10) the ZOO Artis, is indicated with an sign with a little black elephant.
Take exit S114 and follow the signs (little black elephants) of our neighbour the Zoo.
CITY CENTRE:
follow the green signs ARTIS for walking tours in the centre.
