Plaza Cavana Hotel Nerja

Hotel was very good. The only minor point was that our room was next to the lift which was noisy and the room for the maids seemed to be next to our room. You could hear them taking things and cleaning. Otherwise hotel was fine and all staff very friendly. Location great!

The location is superb with 3 mins walk from Balcon d'Europa, 5 mins from the beach, most of the shopping areas are within a radius of 10 mins walk and a huge range of restaurants are in close proximity. The rooms are extremely clean and while I had a front facing room on the side of the street it was very quiet with the shutters and PVC fench doors closed. The staff were friendly and helpful when required. If travelling with children, please note that this hotel does have any childrens facilities of any description but that shouldn't deter you as Nerja has ample distractions. Try and avoid the breakfast, there is nothing wrong with it but the choice of restaurants on the street offer a much wider choice of food and better value. The cost of using the Sauna and Jacuzzi is also a bit steep at €15 each. Overall 8 out of 10.
