Terrible internet connection if you are trying to do work from your room.

I have stayed at many of the hotels in Viareggio, and this is by far the best in my opinion. Perfectly located, with excellent facilities and attentive staff, I am happy to return again and again. It is a little pricey, but worth it.

great central location with local bus stop and taxi service outside hotel. hotel staff spoke good english &were more than happy to help. within walking distance of beach and some excellant resturants. noise levels were high at weekend if room on front of hotel but again if rooms ava &through paying a supp staff were more than happy to reposition you although we did not feel the need as room views were better at front. excellent, enjoyable hotel definately return!! oh do local transport ie buses alot cheaper

We have stayed in three different four-star hotels in Viareggio, and this is certainly the best for location, quality and service. The rooftop restaurant is a delight. Prices are very high in July and August (partly because of the excellent open-air opera season at Torre del Lago Puccini) but more reasonable in June and September, which are very good months to visit this area. I was able to get a better deal through Hotel Club than the hotel offered me. We have stayed at the hotel three times now and would do so again.

We were staying in Viareggio for 2 nights and the Plaza e de Ruisse Hotel was perfect. We had our room upgraded and had a beautiful view down the promenade from our first floor room. The staff were all really helpful and pleasant. We would definitley return to this beautiful hotel.

Excellent hotel in good location for beaches, shops, restaurants etc. All the staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. We had a standard room which was not very big but cleanliness first class.

Rooms kept clean and tidy.Bedsheets changed daily.Hotel staff very helpful.Food A1 good quality plus generous portions.No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The staff were brilliant I was very disappointed there was no swimming pool, and the charges for the private beach were astronimical. 20 E per day for 2 people, deck chair and umbrella. It cost another 7E for a sunbed !

Outstanding service from the manager. The restaurant is of the highest class. The room most comfortable and the furnishings and fittings gracious. The staff friendly and helpful. Perfect position for buses to Lucca and other towns.
