Getting there:From the airport take the Northern Motorway 1, continue over the Harbour Bridge, take exit 419 onto Northcote Road, turn left and the hotel is the first building on your right (approx 400m)
Check-in Procedure:Upon check in your credit card details will be requested. This is for security purposes only. If you prefer not to provide your credit card details, a $100 bond (per night staying) will be taken for any extra costs. If no incidentals occur, it will be returned upon check-out.
Car parking:All rooms have an allocated car park in front of the room free of charge. Upon check in you will be given a "parking permit" which you must display on your dashboard to avoid towage. There is also a large carpark at the end of this drive way (suitable for buses & trucks) & 3 others neighbouring the property of similar size.
Child Policy:All children are welcome. We have child friendly restaurants onsite, an outdoor childrens playground and port a cots are available on request (subject to availability)
We only wanted a place to stay for the night. Sure hotel is older but rooms quite spacious and beds comfortable. Pool nice too and lots of places to buy food nearby. Much cheaper than anywhere else on the North Shore.
An electric able had been severed nearby and the hotel was without electric power for most of the day

Clean, reasonably old but rooms are well kept and showers toilets etc modern. Plenty of parking and nice view of an atractive pool.
I liked that there were plates, bowls and cutlery to use if you brought food along. The place was clean and very handy to the motorway and my family. Also the rate was excellent.
It advised that it had a kitchenette, but in fact it only had a hot water jug and a fridge, not a kitchenette. However would stay again. There are no breakfast facilities and no restaurant close by for breakfast, apart form a McDonalds..
Bit dated but I guess the rates are reasonable enough for Auckland and very close ot Takapuna
OK for the price - good location - close to places - fine for average income earners.
Room was very basic but clean with nice outlook over the pool. There is a couple of Restaurants on site which made dining easy.
The hotel was poorly sign posted in terms of finding it from the road and also finding the reception. Room was ok, pretty standard. Spa pool smelt very musty, water needed to be emptied or cleaned.
I booked through the internet and asked for a quiet room as we were kept awake because of noisey party goers around the pool the last time we stayed. We were put in a back room which was very good, we had a superbly undisturbed sleep. The only downside was that the bed was slightly uncomfortable. We were also disappointed that the bar was closed when we came back from a birthday party at another venue.
My son and myself enjoyed staying at your hotel.
This hotel is very shabby and run down. Windows have no security catches and were very dirty. When I rang to confirm the booking I was told that I had no record of our booking. Staff obviously were not trained properly. Good food, friendly staff but would not stay there again.
We thought the location of the room we stayed in was not good as it overlooked the pool and bar, the noise from both those areas was unacceptable which went until late in the night. I understand because of the layout it could not be helped but it was not good either. I do not know what can be done about it but I am afraid I will not stay there again. The staff and service were faultless.
