Getting there:We are 12 minutes east of Christchurch city with buses to the city every 15 minute or so. Here is the metro bus website. http://www.metroinfo.org.nz/ For those driving from the airport Queen Elizabeth Drive will take you to well sign posted New Brighton and from the city via Pages road or Wainoni Roads will also lead you to New Brighton. When in New Brighton . Our cafe' and back packers entrance is located on Union Street and Car parking is on the Corner of Union Street and Beresford Streets.
Check-in Procedure:Office hours 9.00 am to 2.00pm and 5.00 to 8.00 daily. Please let us know if you need to check in outside these hours and we will email instructions on how to enter the backpackers. Check-in time : 1.00 pm; Check-out time : before 10.00 am If arriving after 8.00 pm please contact us ph. 03 388 2050 or email. Cash payment upon arrival. There are ATM machines next door.
Car parking:We have free parking and the bus stop outside our doors.
Child Policy:Children are welcomed.
this is a top place to stay.. 2 blocks to the harbour beach, 20 minutes by car to the airport, 10-15 to the city. its very quiet, top people, great place and very affordable, excellent facilities.. will definately stay here again next time im in CC..
the bathreoom didn't appear to have been cleaned each day

Pleasent helpfull management. Handy to shops, bus stops & beach. Loads off car parks. Bit noisy @ nights but wouuld stay there again if I got the same room again. Eddie, NZ.
Points Break made me welcome right from the start! My first room was a little bit cold as the window wouldnt close proper. No hesitation from the staff: they offered me to change the room! Everybody was sooo helpful and the Backpackers is very very clean! Free breakfast cereal,toast and tea..)The location, even so I had to commute to work to Papanui,was great! Busses in front of the door! What more do you want? There is the beach 300m away from you! Amazing spot! Will recommend it to my friends and everybody! A little home away from home!
