We stayed during the weekend and it was very noisy (mostly people screaming and singing). As we didn't know it was this close to pubs etc it was a bit disappointing. We won't go back to this otherwise very nice hotel.
Excellent choice of food for breakfast. Formal group dinner excellent.
Most amazing porridge for breakfast. Hope that doesn't make me sound sad!!!
Excellent location, staff friendly, helpful and polite. Breakfast and evening meal has a wide choice and variety. Room comfortable and clean. The only thing missing is a fridge.
Have stayed at the Pomme d,Or several times best things are the location and the cafe. parking can be a pain but there are large car parks a small walk away.
Eveything was excellent
Recently stayed for two nights with my mum and sisters . lovely hotel in very central location although rooms could have been a bit bigger. Must try the seafood evening on Fridays its fabulous, at only £19.50 per head! Help yourself buffet - fantastic selection of fresh seafood in an elegant , traditional setting.
Brilliant location for shopping and ferries. Fantastic food. One and only negative is that you get a bit of street noise from the pubs turning out. Though triple glazing in rooms. We stayed on St Patricks day, and rugby match, so probably to be expected. Charming, helpful staff.
We only had a short stay, but found the hotel was in an excellent position for access to the shops, buses and main attractions. The staff were all very polite and helpful. Obviously, being centrally located there was some noise at night from traffic and late night revellers in the streets. Can't have it all!!
Excellent hotel but I am surprised it got a four star rating as there is no in-house swimming pool or gymnasium. No mini bars either so it is difficut to chill your own bottles of Champagne!
Very good for business users especially - good food - clean rooms - try and get a 1st floor room, wifi signal still usable and free!
The Breakfast was fantastic value for money. The Harbour Cafe had a great atmosphere and fantastic food and all the staff were very friendly.
