Getting there:Drive through the centre of Port Arthur past the entrance to the Historic Site and take the next road on the left, Safety cove Road. We are 500 metres down on the right hand side.
Check-in Procedure:Please advise if checking in after 6.00 pm, as office is un-manned after this time. The office closes at 8.00 pm.
Car parking:Parking is off road and secure right outside your villa
Child Policy:Children are in the age range 2 - 14 inclusive. Children up to 2 years are free, cots are additional $10.00. Please ensure that a cot is requested at time of booking to guarantee availabilty.
If you like a cosy place and still be within walking distance, albeit a bit spooky at times, to the historic Port Arthur site, PA Villa is a good choice. Wally is a really welcoming manager who is very helpful. He mentioned that the booking agent (Hotel-Club) mistakenly doubled my booking, and he sorted it out without any fuss to avoid any double charging. The tickets to the PA walking tours, including the ghost tours, can be purchased through PA Villa at the same price, and this gives us access to a gate key to an alternative entry (tramway st) into PA Historic site. There is a guest laundry area ($4 a wash) located in the villa, though internet access is a bit pricey. Microwave oven, convention oven & even a dishwasher are available in the room so it's a nice touch.
A lovely place, terrific host in Wally, the most reasonable mini-bar we found in Tasmania, wildlife spotting & walk to Port Arthur Historic Site. Firm beds, but very comfortable, we were there mid-winter & cabins very warm & cosy.

We loved the Villas, have already told people it is a must to stay at.
Loved the apartment, everything we needed was provided, close to all attractions and the closest to Port Arthur itself. Country atmosphere with cows by the fence, rabbits in the garden. would highly recommend it.

Pt Arthur Villas was a very nice place to stay loved Port Arthur recomend the Ghost tour 10 out of 10.
Ok for our purpose, we were only staying overnight. Nice and clean and management were good and suggested a good restaurant. Close to all things at Pt Arthur.
Comfortable motel
This was one of the best places we stayed in on our recent trip around Tassie. Great location, spottlessly clean rooms which are set out very well. Will definately stay here again if we ever get the chance to get back to the lovely Tasmania.

Very convenient location - 2 minutes walk from Port Arthur itself via a locked gate which the management will provide to guests. Breakfast a bit overpriced for what it is - 2 slices of bread/jam, cereal, juice and instant coffee or tea bags.
