Port Douglas Sands Resort

Very homely, pleasantly situated with great aspect from balcony over the fabulous pool. Room was fully equipped with dishwasher and A/C and full sets of crockery. We will go again.

An excellent place to say. The grounds are tropical and immaculately clean and the people running the hotel are very helpful and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this place for a lovely family holiday.

Lovely place, pool is great and rooms had everything from dishwashers and washing machines to place mats for the dinning room table, I would definitely stay here again - highly recommended

This is a wonderful place, right at the doorstep of the Great Barrier and the rainforest. The apartment we stayed in was actually larger than our Tokyo flat, and it was very well outfitted. Suggestions for travellers - stock up the refrigerator with stuff from the supermarket, and you can really freak out! Breakfast is no big deal, and you may need to buttress it up, but the location and the facilities are well worth it.

Just lovely self contained apartments. Lovely settings in the tiny town of Port Douglas when directly across the road from the Sheridan Mirage Resort.

Although at a distance to the macrossan (where everything is happening). The Quest Resort is close by some of the finest restaurants in Port Douglas. We enjoyed staying there.

Absolutely loved our time in Port Douglas, and the short walk to town was enjoyable. Nice and quiet.

Not the 4.5 star accommodation it was advertised as. More like 3.5, but after the initial disappointment, we were happy with our stay there. Would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable good quality hotel. The staff were pretty helpful too.

Sublime location, liked the fact that you can be self sufficient with the kitchenette. Very good value by booking through this website!

Excellent value. The staff were amazingly accommodating, especially since we arrived just as a cyclone threatened the coast. We had to change our plans more than once during our stay (especially after Port Dougas was cut off by floods and and avalanche on the Cook Highway). We ended up leaving our rental car at the resort, to be picked up later, so we could get back to Cairns by catamaran to make our flight out; one of the staff, Robert, was kind enough to give us a lift to the marina.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! We really enjoyed our stay here, it is a very nice hotel!

An outstanding resort for a family who require self catering facilities. We had a great time and the resort catered well for us. I feel that one needs to have their own car otherwise GREAT !!

A great place for a family holiday. Quest Resort had everything we needed and were very helpful when we needed to book airport transfers and outside attractions. Heaps of brochures were also available to us.

Resort was very family friendly and well laid out with lots of shade from their tropical garden. Great place to stay for the price.

The rooms were very spacious. We enjoyed our stay.
