The Portsonachan Hotel has a range of rooms, lochside suites and self catering lodges and has cosy bars that are well stocked with malt and blended whisky. Both the Bar and the Restaurant menu are available in our dining areas. The Hotel overlooks Loch Awe and towards Ben Cruachan which towers over the north shore. The Loch is 27 mile long freshwater venue holding the Brown Trout record at 31lb 12oz. Fishing is free to our guests.We are also surrounded by local Golf Courses with green fees of around £10.00 per day. The area around Portsonachan is one of outstanding natural beauty and ever changing moods. Within easy reach is Oban a popular seaside town and Inveraray - the seat of the Clan Campbell. |
