South of the river Tejo and in a protected area, between the mountains and sea, Costa da Caparica extends along 30 km of beach, comprising one of the main bathing zones of Portugal.

Getting there:From the International Airport of Lisbon leave in the direction of “Praça do Aeroporto / Rotunda do Relógio”. At the roundabout turn off at the first exit and continue straight ahead in the direction of “A2 Sul / Sete rios”. Continue straight ahead, and only after having crossed the bridge "Ponte 25 de Abril”, turn off in the direction of “Caparica / Trafaria”. Continue for approximately 6 km and at the second traffic light keep going ahead and take the second turning on the left, then take the first on the right and then the second on the left. Hotel Praia do Sol is situated 100 metres along the road.

Excellent hotel for price. Staff efficient and helpful, receptionists speak some English. Clean, well-equipped. Only problem pillows too big and hard - got a sore neck! Fantastic location, on main street, just in from beach.
Old beach hotel, in the center of the village, just near the beach. Small clean rooms, with WC. Average quality breakfast and old style rooms with confort.
Very pleasant stay, our room was spacious All in all, this stay was very pleasant, represented good value for money and will use again.
