"For the visit of Algarve, Prainha Club hotel Alvor is idealy situated near main atractions. Portimao, Alvor, Lagos and Sierra Manchique are all inside half an hour drive, and in one hour you can be anywhere between Cabo st. Vincence and Spanish border. It is strongly recomanded to rent a car, which is very afordable (cca 150 EUR for a week for type A car).
Hotel shows that it is not exactly new, but it is compensated with a nice terrace, excelent grounds which include two sweeming pools, and a fantastic beach inside walking distance. All rooms have ocean wiew and the parking is free, unlike most of the other places, where you have to pay for both.
We spend a fool week, during which time we visited everithing worth seeing in Algarve, but we did not find a better place to stay. Excelent value for money! " - Mihajlo Ceraj-Ceric

"It was a hard place to find on a dark winter evening. Better signposting would have made all the difference. The splendid indoor swimming pool is shut on Sundays. Rooms will soon need redecorating, but are spacious and pleasant." - Charles Barton
