Getting there:Taxis are a 20 minute USD $33 ride from MIA to The La Flora Hotel. If you prefer to drive, take Expressway 112 east to Miami Beach ($1.25 toll). Exit at Interstate195.Follow direction Miami Beach to Alton Road. Go south on Alton Road to 14th St. Go east on 14th St. to Collins Ave. (A1A). Turn right and go south to La Flora Hotel.
Check-in Procedure:At the check in we require to show an ID and a credit card, we ask a preauthorization for the first night, or $ 100 deposit to refund at the check out.
Car parking:No private parking in the hotel. The nearest public one is 20 meters distance from the hotel (8 USD per day).
Child Policy:kids up 3 years old that share the rooms wtih parents are free. from 4 to 11 they have 50 % of discount.
First of all-GREAT location!!! That said i did'nt get the correct room when I got there BUT it got straightened out the next day. Some of the rooms were a bit small BUT my king was GREAT! Valet pkg is expensive there BUT it is everywhere down there! There were two guys shot in the pkg lot near by BUT the cops caught the guy who did it AND they survived!! Lots of low lifes down there BUT im from bmore and used to it. Overall a cool little place AND I would return again
The staff including the valet staff was very nice only plus is free internet and location room was nice but had nothing in it at all. Very simple....

Well priced and located hotel. A great base for an overnight stop in South Beach and wanting to be close to the sites and night life. Only average in terms of the rooms and service (this is a reflection of the price), but would be happy to go by there again if stopping over in Miami due to its location and price.

This hotel still needs to add a few basics that you come to expect from any hotel. Currently there are no vending machines to purchase drinks, water, cokes, etc..., as well, there is no ice machine for guests. The staff did accommodate us with ice from a staff area, but again no ice bucket for the room. This hotel has a great location for the Art Deco area of South Beach, they just need to go to the next level with there facility. Staff was very helpful.
I booked a room one week out from the stay and was pleased with the price and decision. The hotel is very central in South Beach but far enough away not to be disturbing with the nightlife. I felt quite safe walking around the district at night on my own. To take advantage of the continental breakfast A tip - I learned you need to go down early as once they runout, they dont restock eg no milk, or bread to toast or even coffee when the time gets to be about 9am.
The room was fine but beds are not so fresh as we expexted. Be aware that hotel doesn't have his own parking lot and we used multivele one across the corner which costs $10 per day. The service was OK: not very friendly but not aggressive. Resume: an average place for ad-hoc stay.
We enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites La Flora South Beach Miami and will recommend the hotel to any future visitors to Miami.
