"We were very unhappy to find that a construction sight was on both sides of hotel with work starting very early in the morning, right up until Saturday. My partner and I found it very hard to relax with the sound of bulldozers crashing round a builiding site. Plus the view of a building sight is nothing like the brochure.
You might want to wait until construction is finished before visiting if your after peace and quite or ask for a substantial discount on your room rates.
In terms of location it was fantastic however the staffs dull attitude and lack lustre performance really let the hotel down. Some customer service training might come in handy there.
The shower and bath were not the cleanest and the lift was so slow, every time you had to go somwhere it was at least 10 minutes before you got to the ground floor.
The decor is bland and the pebble mix roof is very tacky. Its definetly not a 4.5 star hotel more like 3 star. " - Anonymous

The Brisbane International and Domestic Airports are located about 20km from the Brisbane CBD, approximately $36.00 by Taxi or $10.00 per person by Air-train.
If you are driving in from the Airport enter the CBD area via Anne Street turning left into Edward Street, then right into Mary Street then left into Albert Street then turn left into Margaret Street (Note Margaret St is a One Way St). 212 on Margaret will be on the left hand side.
If you are catching a train into Brisbane, Central Street and Roma Street stations are about a 10 minute Taxi ride from the property.
If you are driving up from the Gold Coast stay in the left hand lane of the Riverside Expressway and as you cross over the Captain Cook Bridge you will see the turn off for Margaret Street, 212 on Margaret will be a few blocks down on the left hand side, next to the Kings Carpark.

Rates are per room for the indicated number of guests. Extra guests can be accommodated on a double sofa-bed, at an additional $30 per night. Children under 12 years may stay free in "existing bedding". Infant Cots and High-Chairs & Pram are available for hire upon request at a cost of $20 per night per item. |
