Prince Hotel Seoul Guest Reviews

4 out of 5

This hotel is close to everything in central Seoul Ie.g. shopping, markets, tower , post office, transfer to airport etc By Korean standards it is reasonably priced. We stayed in the cheapest room which lacked space but still had all the luxuries, including a toilet seat with a lot of buttons. Basic breakfast was $12 after 30% discount but we made our own from items bought at the baquette place next door. Istaff was generally helpful. If we were ever to visit this very expensive city again, we would stay there again.

I really loved this hotel, the room was perfect and it is situated right in the middle of everything. The staff even gave us some of their private umbrellas as we left the hotel in pouring rain. That is good service!

I always stay at the Prince Hotel when in Seoul. It's at the base of Namsam Mt, a great place to exercise, as well as Namdaemun Market and some good Italian Restaurants. The 1605 bus takes you there from the airport for 9,000 won.

The Double Red Room we booked was quite small but clean and adequate. Location is very good as it is opposite the Myeondong shopping area. There are lots of eateries and street vendors in the evening. The atmosphere is great. It is also opposite Sejong Hotel, which is a stop on the Airport Limo Bus line. Very convenient. Service staff are very polite. They are not particularly helpful. Might be the language barrier though. Book your rooms online. We wanted to return to the hotel after touring other parts of the country and were told that they can only offer us their rack rates. We immediately went online and booked from [website] at about 15 - 20% cheaper. Way to go '[website]'.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Great location in the middle of Myong Dong and nice rooms. Best hotel on hour two week roundtrip of Japan and Korea. I would probably advise people not to take the breakfast buffet, since it wasn't spectacular and there was a little french bakery 10 meters from the hotel entrance.

clean, polite staff but they tend to tell things which they are not even sure. Information given by them verbally need to be reconfirmed again. Overall good because they clean room everyday and very tidy. Two person is ok. Right down is Myeundong subway, very convenient to travel around city. Opposite the road is Myeundong Market, great place for shopping and food hunting. Prefer the area more than other markets area.

This hotel is very good value, close to many resturaunts (excellent value) markets and good clean area. Nice walks and grassed sitting areas nearby. Close to the famous Nam Dae Mun markets. Make sure you catch the limousine bus from the Airport it stops at the hotel across the road - can't remember exact name Senagol or similar. The luxury bus fare is only $9 the trip takes 1.25 hours, I hate think what it would cost by taxi. I would stay there again and definitely recommend it as good quality value accomodation.!!

We were given a smoking room when asked for a non-smoking room and the room was tiny even for European standards. Other than that, the breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable for an Asian bed, and it was in a great location. They gave my boyfriend and I a ride to the hotel where the airport bus picks up on last minute notice.

The room is very nice except the aircond is too big for the room and it's very hard to control the temp. -either too cold or too warm. The internet connection is superd. This is about the only hotel that I have stayed in that doesn't provide electric kettle and coffee making facilities. Luckily the Family Mart is just across the road and we have to buy a 2 liter mineral water everyday for our daily consumption.

Prince Hotel is conveniently located across from the popular shopping district and downstairs is the subway station. Our red room was small but it was tidy and suitable for our stay. We did not get a full view as we had a wall for our view and saw from the sides. There was a flat screen wall TV, nice bathroom, good showerhead, studio lights and a/c. I have to say, the service and people who worked there in the lobby were so helpful with information and very friendly to us. Some spoke good english and some tried and helped us even so. Also the hotel is very near the airport limousine bus stop (bus 605-1, cost: US$9) which drops you off or you can get on, across the street at Sejong Hotel. But you have to walk underground to get across the street...so there are down stairs and up stairs. But the hotel provides free shuttle car service for you and your heavy luggage if you are heading across the street to take the bus to the airport.

Bust sop is across the road (don't try crossing the road unless you want to die). Use the subway 1 minute away to walk or if you have baggage get the porters from Prince Hotel to pick you up in their Van. Service is beyond believe. I tried to tip them but they took offence & wouldn't accept. SUPURB SERVICE. Close to great central clothes shopping & food stores. If you need Western Food try Mr. Pizza, weird but good. Not much English spoken anywhere (not even on maps or signs), so plan your travels. Prince Hotel is very clean, and comfortable. 1 food vending machine with Korean things like toothpaste, green tea. Don't expect Coke in their vending machine or chips. Didn't eat in Restaurant but Korean food only I believe. Breakfast was nice, but not 100% Western style although they try. 24hr convenience store 2 mins walk away, but again limited Western style products (don't speak English).

It's very clean and well located, you can walk from there to Namdaemun Market and you can go everywhere by subway (the hotel is in front of Myeondong Station, line 4). The price it's ok according to the level of the Hotel. I recommend it.

This hotel is OK. Clean, modern, funky rooms. Minimalist lobby. In New York this would be called a 'boutique hotel'. If you've had enough BBQ pork, there's an Outback which you can see from the hotel entrance.

I picked this hotel really because it was one of the cheapest hotels in Seoul on ratestogo and to be honest i was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean, the staff spoke good English and were very helpful. The location opposite Myeongdong market is a great place to shop and get around from using the tourists sight seeing bus. Would recommenced this hotel if you want a good base with a comfortable bed.
