Excellent location, the price i got at hotel club was good value for money.
Rather curious place + a little claustrophobic. Cheap hotel in expensive city, but you get what you pay for. Clean, and reception helpful, but only really a place to rest your head overnight.
A very good hotel for the price, great location near to Paddington or Lancaster Gate stations. Rooms are small but with nice refurbished shower rooms and tea making facilities. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast of tea/coffee, juice, toast and cereals is fine and the toasters are always fun (sometimes they work but usually you have to hold the button down until your toast is done!)
Good location, clean, very basic hotel - you get what you pay for. Ok for an overnight stop.
cheap, good location
good location, good staff, cheap
At less than £40 for a double en-suite room in central London you can't expect too much - this place was about average for facilities/cleanliness in the budget range but staff on the 24 hr reception were friendly and the breakfast of toast, cereral, OJ and coffee was fine
Exceptionally basic but clean. Well priced at the discounted rate but wouldn't entertain the rack rate.
Good basic budget hotel if you don't mind the smell of Indian food!
Need to invest in new beds and mattresses! Could not sleep due to dip in the bed, old metal framed bed that was unstable and had a ancient mattress. Decent en-suite shower room. Beds totally let it down, would not stay again for that reason.
'You get what you pay for'. A competitive price was my reason for staying here and I had no expectations, consequently I wasn't disappointed!. A clean, tired room in a tired hotel which was absolutely fine for my purposes (somewhere to get my head down). Don't expect the Ritz or The Hilton and you won't be disappointed! I'd stay again based on price I paid and location. Watch out, they'll charge you 1.50 if you pay by Credit or Debt card.
This is probably the cleanest budget hotel I have found. Staff were very friendly. Room was small but adequate. Location 5 min walk from Paddington Station.
A budget tourist hotel, a little noisy from traffic. Good bathroom and hot water.
I was very happy with the location it was a few minute walk from paddington station. The lady at reception was pleasant and polite. My room was hoever in the basement ( B4 ). I was a little nervous opening the door but was pleasantly suprised. It was very clean, very small but still was sufficient space for one maybe even 2 ppl for a short stay. It had a double bed which wasnt too uncomfortable. The bathroom was actually quite modern and clean. My only 2 issues were the noise...from both traffic and fellow guests/restaurant staff, and the other issue was when i woke up in the morning i realised there was a blood stain on the pillow...it was on the pillow not the pillow case so it was obviously from a previous guest..that grossed me out...but other than that I would possibly stay there again...but check the pillow first.
object to paying extra for WiFi. Foreign staff made communication/service very difficult. Breakfast should be available earlier than 7.30am.
Happy with our stay - just a bed to sleep in for the night. Chosen for its proximity to Paddington - easy walking even with 2 children and luggage for Australia! Tiny room for 3, but cheap for central London. Lucky we had a busy day, though, because the beds were backpacker standard! Staff helpful.
Location is great and the room was clean. However, the bed was horrible and the rooms are very noisy. You can hear every word your neighbours say....
I noticed the comforter on my bed had holes in like someone had put a cigerate on it. When I checked in, it would have been nice to know in advance that the hotel requires a passport number.
Good place for budget traveler. Elevator till 4-th floor only. Narrow maze of corridors.
Expectations of London hotels are low and this was about average - very small bathroom and lift/hallways. Breakfast was very overcrowded one day and gave up trying to eat. Service from reception VG
