Principe Hotel Venice

This is an old style, somewhat fancy hotel but very nice. I have no real complaints. The location is about a 2 minute walk from the train station, a 5 minute walk to the Alilaguna airport boat stop and right on the grand canal - very convenient. Breakfast was nice.

Enjoyed the 4 days. Facilities and pricing good for venice. Close to rail and bus transfers

The hotel is a few minutes from the railway station. We stayed for one night after a cruise and found the water taxi service to the hotel excellent. We were given a room on the main canal which was fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful - we will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and the location was excellent particularly being unfamiliar with Venice and arriving late at night. I did think that the hotel was run down, chipped paint, cracked tiles, worn carpet - but overall it provided the illusion of a grand Venetian hotel.

This hotel has a great location, small but comfortable rooms, nice staff and wonderful buffet breakfast. We enjoyed our stay in venice and Hotel Principe was definitely part of it.

Hotel is in a good location, near to bus station for getting to and from airport. Room was clean but quite small. Bathroom was tiny with variable water temperature! Staff were indifferent.

This hotel was memorable. We arrived there by water taxi from the airport. The room contained comfortable period furniture. Breakfast was taken overlooking the Grand Canal. The hotel staff of their own initiative repeatedly followed up our missing luggage until it was delivered by the airline. The hotel was conveniently located close to the railway station.

Loved our stay at this hotel, breakfast was wonderful, great location & very clean rooms.

This was the most beautiful hotel room I have ever stayed in . We where lucky getting room121 i think? which has its own private balconyover looking canal. I look for 2 things when booking a hotel,cleanliness and good location. This hotel has this in bucket loads and the beauty of the room got our holiday of to great start its 5 mins away from train station around 10 from bus station.Breakfast v.good. Friendly staff.I would without hesitation reccomend this hotel, best one I stayed in in a long time.

The breakfast is very good and the location is just less than 2 mins away from the train station. Near to water bus too.

The hotel is convieniently located near station and on the canal. The breakfast provided is quite good with a reasonable range of food available. The rooms are adequate though I felt not to a four star standard. The staff were relatively helpful and were happy to respond to request for advice on places to visit etc.

I ehjoyed my stay at the Principe which in March at any rate represented very good value at a well run, clean, comfortable 4.star hotel. The service and breakfast choices were impeccable. highly recommended.

Hoteldinner relatively expensive. Rooms are small. Needed shaving kit since luggage didn't arrive, but these are not available due to security reasons...Ventilation needs major improvement. Overall impression a typical venetian hotel.

We enjoyed this hotel so much that we are currently rebooking it again for later this year - it couldn't be bettered in terms of location and quality.
