Getting there:By Air Emerald Bay is serviced from a number of gateways in North America by several internat'l airlines, including Aero California, AeroMexico, Alaska Airlines, America West, Continental Airlines, Mexicana Airlines. Directions From The Airport: Depart the Rafael Buelna International Airport and take Highway 15 North toward Nogales. Follow the signs for "Playas" which means Beaches. Follow Rafael Buelna Avenue till you get to Valentino´s Disco and turn right at McDonald´s. Continue north on Camarón Sábalo Avenue which converts into Sábalo Cerritos after the second bridge passing Marina Mazatlán. After 8 kms, you will see signs for Ernesto Coppel Campaña Ave. and Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay. Follow the signs which will take you directly to the resort. By Land: Emerald Bay is 1,200 miles south of San Diego, California. The drive from San Diego requires approximately two or three days, with many hotels to accommodate the traveler, and magnificent scenery to enjoy along the way.

The grounds, the pools and the buildings are all spectacular. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The only thing that we felt was not up to par was the food. It was average at best.
Hotel and Staff were excellent. Pools and food great. Not much night life. Spa facility is excellent. You need to know that this is a time share facility so you will be approached to purchase. Weather at Thanksgiving time of year was fabulous. It is not near down town so a taxi ride is required to get there, but they do have shuttle between this location and their downtown location.
This oversized studio has a comfortable sitting area with table and chairs, two double beds, a fully accessorized kitchenette with service for four, and a large bathroom with shower. Your private balcony or terrace will have an outstanding ocean view. Maximum number of persons regardless of age is 4. No rollaway beds available.
Our one bedroom, two bathroom Master Suites have plenty of room for the family. You’ll find either one king (on request) or two queen beds in the bedroom. The living room has a queen sofa bed, dining room table and chairs, and a fully accessorized kitchenette with service for six. One bathroom has shower only while the other has a shower/tub combo. Our unique indoor balcony has French doors that open to amazing ocean views, or a standard outdoor balcony can be put on request. Maximum number of persons regardless of age is 6. Rates are based on 2 adults and up to 2 children age 12 or under. Additional adults or children will be charged extra person fee. No rollaway beds available.
Paid in advance for the all inclusive which was not a problem. When arrived, we were told if we were to take the timeshare tour, they would drop the price to $40.00 per day per person. (there were 4 of us).Awesome deal. After the presentation was over, we were to go and collect our credit. Well, after several attempts to get our money back in US DOLLARS, they told us if they issued our credit back to my credit card, we would receive our credit in US DOLLARS. I received my credit card statement today. I was almost $100.00 dollars short. Made several attempts to contact the company, I never received a response. This is pretty lousey considering I am a Pueblo Bonito owner.
Wonderful, relaxing property with excellent staff. Free shuttle to Mazatlan hotel very convenient.
