This hotel definitely has one of the best locations in Cabo. You are right on the beach and within walking distance to everything. The rooms are nice and the pool is beautiful as well. As far as food goes the main restaurants food is just okay but go up to Felinis for dinner and it is incredible. The major downfall is how this hotel is run. They lost our dinner reservations several times forcing us to constantly adjust our plans. The Sushi bar is supposed to be open from 10am until 11pm but Sushi is only served from 2pm until they decide to stop which changed regularly. Then on the beach the staff was constantly taking people's chairs and giving them to those who had complained more, even if those people were just down swimming. Overall we had a great experience but don't expect quality service.
The Rose is one of the best hotels in the Pueblo Bonito family. It combines the perfect location with luxury. Medano bay is a swimmable beach and it is at a central location where the town is within walking distance and the beach is footsteps away from the room. The staff is always friendly and ready to do anything they can for you. The food at the hotel isn't that great but there are wonderful restaurants close by that are a reasonable price that have amazing food.
Our Junior Suite offers over 540 sq. ft of luxurious living space and can sleep up to four guests. It includes a private balcony or terrace, the sleeping quarters include two double beds, a living room area with a table and two chairs, and a fully equipped "petite kitchenette". The furnished kitchenette includes a refrigerator, cooktop, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and full complement of dishes including eating and serving utensils for four. Large bathroom with shower. Remote controlled television with satellite reception. Telephone with direct dial long distance and mail service, ceiling fans and individual air conditioning controls, private safe and hair dryer. Iron and ironing board.
The staff, especially the Activitiy Directors were great! Very friendly and fun! I didn't give it a 5 star because I did miss not having a hot tub by the pool. It got quite chilly while we were there and a hot tub would have been perfect! The location (great beach), rooms, restaurant, service were great! I would go back anytime! I was content to just stay at the resort and enjoy the amenities there! Went whale watching--didn't see any whales so the captain took us to Land's End and let us roam around and take photos! Also rode the wave runners--very fun! I would highly recommend this resort!
The hotel is always well maintained and exceptionally clean. Staff are always friendly. Plenty of sun, fun and good eating onsite and nearby.
Friendly attentive staff. Prime location. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel to anyone visiting Cabo.
The first day we arrived they said they didn't have a room for that night for us. We had a reservation for 7 nights, but the 1st night they sent us to another resort of theirs pretty far away off the beat and track. We were meeting friends so it was a real bummer. We felt ambushed. They sent us back to the Rose the next day and from then on it was great. We found out they did it to other people also. We think they were trying to give the other resort some exposure because it was very dead out there with few people.
We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The only thing we might be able to complain about is the fact that while they advertised a gym on site, it was only available to time share owners or by daily rate of $15 per person.
Pueblo Bonito Rose is as close as I can find to paradise. The hotel & grounds are well maintained & immacuate. Our room was the 1st floor off the pool, & was sound proof!! Even at the high point of the day you didn't hear a thing. Rooms are large & bed was comfortable. 4 choices of pillow firmness to choose from...a nice treat. The restaurants were amazing...so much to choose from and everything was delicious. Location to town is great, walking distance to everywhere- but if you don't want to walk a cab is only $6. Many activities to choose from & reasonably priced. Went parasailing, breathtaking! The people are great, friendly & helpful. BEST vacation ever!! We'll go back! It is a time share, but there is no pressure AT ALL! Should you choose to see the presentation..they make it worth the time by giving you certificates for all sorts of activities or credit on your bill. I'm glad we saw their new location the tour was wonderful.. and NO PRESSURE.
