Pulitzer Hotel Barcelona

Ibis is a three star hotel and the room, amenities, and service match.

A block away from Plaça de Catalunya, the center of Barcelona. Yet street is not too noisy. Not a great view from room, but I only spent nights there. Small but stylish and comfortable. Easy to miss hotel. Look for large blue Hotel Regina sign. Hotel Regina is adjacent to Hotel Pulitzer and run by the same company.

This hotel was nice and a good value, but it was not a hotel I'd be dying to visit again. There is a central atrium around which all the rooms/floors are organized. We were given a room near this area and could hear dishes being unloaded from the dishwasher until late in the evening. Also, we could hear conversations from those going to and from the elevator. There is no pool or gym onsite, but the hotel does allow you to use a very nice gym about 4 blocks away. The rooftop bar looks great, but is only open in the summer. Overall, I would say this is a nice place, but a luxury hotel. It was a decent value and in a very central location. They didn't refresh toiletries, there was no coffee maker in the room, our room had no minibar (yet there was a setup for it.) The staff was helpful, but don't expect to be staying somewhere that provides every comfort. The hotel has a modern/cool vibe, but this wasn't enough to make up for its short comings to me.

I loved this hotel and will definitely return. It is centrally located, very comfortable, modern and has every facility you could wish for. The staff are exceptional. No question.......great hotel and you will enjoy staying here

I selected this hotel after reading such positive reviews about it on the internet and it totally lived up to my expectations. The staff were very friendly, the hotel room spotless and decor very stylish.Plus it was in a perfect location, just off Placa Catalunya, but at the same time the hotel was very quite and relaxing-just what you needed after a day walking along the busy Las Ramblas!Once we got used to using the lights in the room(!) we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and i would definitely recommend it to others travelling to Barcelona.

This hotel had it all. It is the perfect location right in the heart of everything yet not affected great noise. The room was a good size with a nice bathroom. The hotel robes and slippers were a nice touch. The lobby was relaxed and comfortable and the staff were pleasant and polite - could be a little friendlier. would highly recommend this as a base to explore, relax or what ever it is you require.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pulitzer Hotel! The hotel had a great atmosphere and we really enjoyed ourselves!

We stayed in Pulitzer for one night. The hotel is clean, modern and the location is super, just 5 minutes away from the metro station and less than 10 minuts from La Rambla. We do have a difficult time looking for it as there is no signage for the hotel, just a small signage on the wall. The easier way is to look for Hotel Regina and it is just right besides Hotel Regina. (this is a equally nice hotel as we stayed here for 3 nights)

Stayed in the Pulitzer in February 2006. Graet impression from first meeting with person on reception. Helpfulness of staff continued from first meeting until the end of our stay. Original facade retained on this hotel, which did not give the impression of the modern interior. Location could not be better, being beside Place de Catelunia (?), the starting point for City Tours, (hop on, hop off), which bring you to all places of interest in the city.

I absolutely loved the hotel. Beautiful, with lovely, comfortable rooms.

Over all stay is fine. Except the dining restaurant food quality not great.

its my second time here and it still is very good - the staff are all very young and helpful and the hotel bar is a great place to be.

You couldn't better the location, hotel staff very helpful but perhaps a little pricey.

You cannot beat this hotel for location, customer service and facility. At every point when we needed assistance they were ever helpful with a smile. The location is perfect for visiting all parts of Barcelona and the lounge bar area is a perfect drop in place to meet up with friends.

Modern hotel close to the Rambla/Catalunya Square in the heart of the city 15 mins walk from the sea. Service excellent. Would definitely go back again.

The hotel was above and beyond the expectations I had. The staff were amazing, nothing was a problem...this helped make my stay one of the best I have had in a very long time.
