Impressed at a staff with a good smile welcoming me. But at check in counter, a lady does not welcome. She may be quite busy at that moment. A lady manager understood English well and kind enough.

The one and only worthy place to stay in Khon Kaen
this hotel is easily the best place in Khon Kaen and well worth th eprice difference, I have stayed at Kosa and Charon Tanni the other 2 big hotels and they dont even come close to this place... I have stayed at Sofital 6 times now and will certainly return
The Sofitel Khon Kaen is an all around terrific hotel and the only true 5 star hotel in Issan. We recently stayed there for the 4th time and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Khon Kaen. The rooms are plush, the staff is friendly and the food is great. My only criticism would be that they want a ridiculous 500 baht per day for in-room internet access.
They did not know i had booked a suite, after getting what i booked they put me in 802 just above the air conditioning units for the whole hotel, it sounded like a train station all day, the room looked as if it either had not been properly cleaned or they had not used it for a while.
The front desk manager provided me with great service. She went out of her way to make sure my stay in Khon Kaen was a comfortable experience.
An excellent hotel, superb value for money, I will stay here again without hesiatation.
This is an excellent hotel with proffessional and friendly staff. The restaurants, entertainment and facillities are very good and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
