Getting there:Located in the heart of the city, the hotel overlooks Trinity Bay and the departure point for the Great Barrier Reef. The hotel is just a short walk; to the shops (across the road), to the inlet (across the road), to the Restaurants (across the road) – You get the idea…its Central! If you are in town for business its only a short walk from the Cairns Convention Centre as well. --------------------------------Coming by TAXI - 10 minute taxi journey to Hotel from Airport ---------DRIVING - form the airport turn left onto Captain Cook Highway, which continues as Sheridan Street through the city. When you reach Spence Street, turn left. Then take the third right into Abbott Street. Continue to the end of Abbott Street and turn left into Wharf Street where you will find the entrance to the hotel. ---------DRIVING - from the south along the Bruce Highway, turn right into Draper Street, then left into Kenny Street, which joins Wharf Street where you will find the hotel entrance.

The room was excellent and the spa bath a perfect inclusion. (Watching tv from the midst of bubbles is a new level of luxury!) However, the bed was horrendous - I had the worst night's sleep in months. It has a soft added 'mattress' on top of the mattress which makes the bed overly soft. Most unpleasant especially if you have any back problems.
Excellent service was given by every member of staff we encountered. The staff were beautifully dressed, had impecable manners and were very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfy and we had a very pleasant stay.
Large hotel rooms with balconies, large King size beds and the Bathrooms are all fitted with Spa Baths and separate showers. The toilets are even in their own little room! You wont find a standard bath room like this anywhere else in town. We have AUSTAR TV channels not just the all the Sports Channels - The TV's are Flat Screen LCD's. If you like the Sunshine you will love the Floor to Ceiling windows that allow the Tropical sunlight into your room!

Its a huge room, boasting the best bedding in Cairns. Offering a Superior King bed or two Double beds. There is a very large private balcony, Double spa bath, a separate shower with two shower heads and double hand basins. You will also find the toilet is in a room of its own, . The Hotel is new and clean, but the twin room bed is very small, the 2 bed just 3 feet width, not suitable for 1 adult and 1 child. The other service is quite good.
Very good location and friendly service staff. Live up to its name as a 4 to 5 stars hotel. No complains. Highly recoomended.

This is a good hotel, and reasonably priced. Clean good sized rooms. Well situated on the promenade and close to shops and restaurants.
They still have smoking & non-smoking levels (6 & 7). Since we didn't know about this, we were placed on the smoking level. Not bad, but we did smell some smoke in the alley.
Very nice rooms. Great beds and bathroom. But no help from staff to take luggage to room.
We were able to book at an excellent rate & stayed in a water view room. The view was beautiful & we enjoyed quite a few hours sitting on our balcony just taking it all in. The beds had a feather overlay & were just so comfortable, I need to find out where to buy one for home. Staff were lovely & helpful, no complaints from us!

Room was neat and clean. The hotel is situated well and is easy to access all city facilities. We used the free internet which was an added bonus as we where travelling around. Not many breakfast selections and a little expensive.
Very clean and modern hotel having just undergone a face lift. Staff very friendly and efficient and pool facilities clean with a well fitted small gym. Only down side was the lack of shade. Onlt 2 umbrellas to provide shade for all guests. Okay during quiet seasons but during hoiday period would be a nightmare

Beautiful room, very spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Location perfect and a short walk to the reef terminal, restos, etc.
Service was great, Cleaning staff were fantastic. Great location walking distance to everywhere. Just one thing, check your bill the end they added a few more things I didn't buy but it was quickly corrected. Would stay there again.
Had a great stay the staff were pleasant, only down fall was to drive around the block for parking under the complex other than that everything was great the food was good and the rooms had great views of the ocean
This hotel is very close to everything. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our bed was turned down for us every night we were there. I cannot fault anything at all about our stay here.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Cannot complain about anything at all!!! The service was wonderful and all staff were great, friendly and very down to earth. The room was very comfortable and we would loved to have stayed longer. We would definately love to come and stay again some time in the near future!
