We wanted to catch the sunset over the ocean with a drink from our balcony so the lady at the bar even carried the champagne to our room while we got our bags from the car. Hotel description:    The Punakaiki Rocks Hotel & Villas is a modern, award-winning hotel complex, with spectacular views of wild West Coast beaches. Award-winning architecture, natural rainforest settings, stunning ocean-front location and only 400m from the famous Pancake Rocks and Blowholes.

Seascape Restaurant & Bar is located right on the beachfront, with fantastic views of the beach and the wild Tasman Sea. Open from 7:00 am daily, we offer great breakfasts, lunches and dinner to suit a variety of tastes.
