Very picturesque location, friendly service and would highly recommend. Only a short Tuk Tuk trip from the Bridge on the River Kwai
All staff at resort are friencly, nice, polite. I like them so much. I think that i will come back again.
A bit far from central Kanchanaburi,. The advertsising says only 2km from the city, but that must be by "the Crow" It costs 200 bht each way for taxi from resort to town. If you share with others is OK but otherwise a far way out from the action.
everything is just ok
could have stayed in this hotel forever, the staff were so helpful and the location so peaceful, no problem getting taxi or boat into the town. the river kwai is a delight and the tiger temple is not too far away. the manageress spoke great english, and have to say the thai massages were the best we tried and very reasonable. would definitley go back again.
I have rated Service average, because when we stayed at the resort, there were hardly any guests and in fact more staff, however they seemed to be quite out of practise and everything particularly food took a very long time. There was also some construction work going on. The resort is in a really beautiful location but is quite isolated so if you're happy to stay put in the resort you're fine, if not you'd be reliant on taxis. There are lots of mosquitos as the resort is right on the river with part of the river flowing right up into the hotel grounds, but a few coils/plug ins do the job. The room was clean and everything was in working order, it was reasonably basic but great for the money. I'd recommend this place for a couple of nights stay in Kanchanaburi, which is enough time to see the local attractions.
Pretty location on the River Kwai, but expensive taxi ride into town. Lovely swimming pool. Pleasant lobby bar but characterless restaurant. Staff speak little English but are willing and friendly. Large rooms, basically equipped, but small bathroom. Hotel almost empty when I stayed, staff advised only busy at weekends! Good value overall.
