The Punta Negra Hotel stands right in front of the sea. Set in a beautiful natural surrounding it is characterised by a typical Mediterranean style of terraces overlooking the sea. As you cast your eyes on the white sandy beach surmounted by high cliffs you feel overwhelmed by strong emotions. On the background you can admire the wondrous gulf with the harbour and the historical centre of the Catalan town of Alghero, full of charm and colours. Recently renovated, the hotel has stucco walls of pastel colours ranging from light green to pink which pair with the pink-coloured ceramic tiles on the floor featuring some pleasant decorations on them; these decorations are repeated all over the tablecloths and the furniture.

Getting there:The Punta Negra Hotel is situated on the eponymous promontory past Fertilia on the road to Porto Conte. eaching the hotel is extremely easy and quick owing to the good road conditions and the lack of any kind of traffic jams. Besides, Alghero is just a few kilometres away, Fertilia is at a walking distance and the international airport is exactly five kilometres from it. Porto Torres - with its ferry-links - is thirty kilometres, while Sassari, the province capital city, is thirty-five kilometres away.

This is a very nice hotel with very pleasant staff and the food is good. The level of service is excellent - clean sheets and towels every day, lovely pool area and small beach. It is quite far out from Alghero - taxi is about €20 and bus service is erratic. Watch the bar prices - beer was €5 a pint and a glass of coke was €3.50 which is very expensive but otherwise no complaints and definitely would go again.
An excellent hotel for the family, beach safe for swimming and right on site. Good facilities. Special compliments to the cleaning staff who kept things spotlessly clean.
The first and the second floor are just for rooms, half of which endowed with balconies overlooking the sea, and the other half facing a beautiful pine forest.

A very pleasant hotel with helpful staff. A very good location close to a well managed and maintained beach. Very convenient for transport to and from the airport and the town of Alghero.
Nice clean hotel with the right distance to be out or the hussle and bustle of town, but close enough to go into town at night.
