Staff is friendly. Great facilities. Excellent location to Singapore. Shopping mall is just nearby. Good service.

the room i have stayed in was quite spacy and was very clean...quiet and just nice for a holiday getaway...the hotel was just a short walk distance to a shopping compleks and just a short drive to the dinning area...views from my room was nice...parking was not a problem..

I booked 3 rooms. But only 1 room is ready to check in when I arrived. The 2nd room I only got it at 4pm n 3rd room is worse as I got it at 5.30pm..That's quite bad for check-on service. As for the rooms, it's a comfortable stay except for the bathtubs.. Yellowish stubborn stains can be seen n looks quite old as u can see cracks already covered with white cement. Room service is good n prompt. Food is nice. Concierge service also great. I accidentally left a bag inside the boot of the taxi which I booked with concierge..later I got back with the concierge n they trace back on the taxi booking details n I got back my things soon after they contacted the taxi driver. The spa experience I had is superb.

A very pleasant hotel close to the causeway. Rooms are large and comfortable - and well laid out. Do not expect too much in the way of bar service.... hotel is now orientated towards a non alcohol policy. Service was excellent and the staff extremely helpful.

My first time stay at the hotel with my family. We had a great time there as hotel is located near amenities such as Plaza Kotaraya, Food outlet nearby. Little India...lots of Indian food outlet. Check out the Pasar Malam (Night Market). Walking distance to City Square Mall & JB Sentral KTM train station...abt 15mins walk. Spacoius room and the Breakfast is great. Friendly staff from porter, concierge, housekeeping, F&B etc. Less than 10mins drive to Johor Bahru immigration Causeway link to Singapore.

My reservation of a double princess deluxe room was not ready at 4pm although the check-in timing is 3pm. However, I was upgraded to a similar room after 45mins of waiting. Although the delivery of service was not prompt, the hotel staff still managed to fulfil. The location was excellent as it is a mere 5-minute walk away from the customs into Singapore.

One of the best Malaysian hotels I have ever stayed in. Staff was friendly (chatted with me and my kids), service was excellent and prompt, best thing was that your request was followed up to make sure you are attended to. I requested for 2 extra towels and was called back twice to make sure that i had received them! Breakfast was a very good spread, from cold cuts to roti canai, noodles, hash browns, fried chicken wings among the usual cereals, nasi lemak, mee goreng and porridge. Shopping, 24 hours KFC, daily night market and a foodstall that operates till 3.30 am are just a stone's throw away. Free internet, 2 bottled water and 2 canned drinks provided complimentary. Nice view of causeway from our room, will definitely come back again!!

I will certainly visit this hotel again. Very convenient as there are many ammenities around the hotel. Prices through Hotel club was good too. Cheers.

Nice clean big room, with bathrobes and slippers provided. soft drinks provided free in the fridge. within minutes from City Square shopping centre. recommended

The room is very spacious but need to do a routine check-up on appliances in the room. Good location & very convenient. Near to shopping centres e.g. Kotaraya & City Square Shopping Mall. Good & yummy spread of breakfast. Highly recommendation.

I must say that the breakfast was excellent, well worth it and was included in the price. The room was a good size and had a litlle table and 2 club chairs in front of the window. It was lovely to look out onto the cause way and river. Cosy to have coffee and read the complimentary newspaper. We actually expected to use this hotel as a base to look around Singapore. You really need to be motivated to do this because it is an ordeal to go through two lots of immigration each way. I guess if we stayed longer we could have done it. We decided to just veg. out. JB is not really a tourist area, mostly business and so it is difficult to walk anywhere. The hotel is well positioned and close to shopping.

Good hotel but it needs a uplift. The neighbouring thistle hotel is excellent. However this hotel boasts of superb location to entertainment and shopping at your doorstep. No need to take taxi. everything is so near. The staff are friendly and buffet breakfast superb. The pool needs a facelift.

Lovely hotel, a little old but more than makes up for it in every other way. We got the room at a good deal with free pizza and mini bar (non-alcoholic)! Great for the kids...

Puteri is a charming, warm hotel with really great service staff! First of all it's location is really great, esp. for guests who would like to shop at city square (it's just right opposite!). There are many eateries at night (back alleys) and the buffet breakfast spread was really good. There was a good mix of western and asian fares and the meal was very satisfying. Facilities are great, although i think the pool could be kept cleaner.. The room was well kept and very comfortable (we had a great view too), and the air con could be adjusted. We had a really enjoyable stay at Puteri!

Room had poor lighting and suspected that something was missing as the desk area was dark. Called operator for an additional standing lamp but was told none available, spoke to staff outside the room and he mentioned that the lamp was missing and immediately replaced with one. Lighting above mirror was down, maintenance never came. Sink in toilet was clogged and had green leaves floating out. Bad maintenance of facilities.

The Lobby & restuarants are lovely however the rooms looks very tired & in need of maintenance.

Good to stay.... cool and clean. But air con abit too cool duing night even off it!

staff wre very freindly and helpful, we had problems with our internet connection and the staff went out of their way to fix the problem, including changing our room and setting us up with and external usb connection

Superb hotel. Even the mini bar is free. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were wonderful.

Its located at the perfect location which can do shopping easily.
