We were on the top floor and the rooms looked like they have just been refurbished. Very nice. Great views.

best hotel littl noisy at the moment but the service and hotel is worth it

Refurbished Gold Coast International is a hit! Excellent in every way.

We only stayed here one night however the service really made an impression. Everyone from the reception staff to the cleaners were very friendly and accommodating! The location was great, only five minute walk into heart of surfers but far enough away to be away from the noise. Very funky bar which was nice for a pre dinner drink. Would definitely stay at this hotel again, it was great value for money.

I got the motel at a discounted rate and was happy with that. Room, facilities, view and location were all fine, easy walk to Surfers CBD. Would be happier, in future, if I stayed there, for them to upgrade to a more comfortable bed.

love the renovations to the entry, cafe, bar, lounge, restaurant and outdoor areas, they blend in together nicely while moving from one space to another

Excellant Staff and facilities except on a Sunday when the Japanese Restaurant is closed and the coffe shop shuts at 3.00 and you have to the Bar for a coffee. The 'Bazaar' Restaurant has great food but very expensive. Would recommend if you have a spare bit of cash. it is now in the Rydges Hotel Chain

The hotel was clean and good, we were living on the last floor, the only one without balcony, but otherwise great

Undergoing some re furbishment around the lobby, but quiet and unobtrusive. We were put up on the 20th floor (Executive level) and everything was fine. Breakfasts were included and we enjoyed our time there.

Asked for a non smoking room with ocean views and got exactly that. Staff were brilliant and nothing was any trouble at all. Will definately stay there again and will recommend to others.

We were happy with our stay. The place was clean which is most importants to us. There were renovations taking place which I think is a great idea and maybe they could do the bath rooms next. That would be the only thing I would change.

every thing was very good except the food, scrambled eggs, were partly uncooked and cold, poached eggs were also partly uncooked and cold which could be a health hazard. coffee was cold.

Unfortunately the hotel is under renovation at the moment, so therefore a bit unsightly. The staff were magnificent. We ate at the Patio Seafood Buffet and were disapointed with the small selection of seafood available. On our last morning there we ate breakfast in the restaurant and the breakfast menu was actually a lot bigger and better than the seafood buffet. Our room was neat and tidy but the bed and especially the pillows were very poor for comfort and both my husband and I ended up with sore backs and necks. We would stay there again with improvements to the bedding.

Came for a 4 night stay over a weekend. Although we had ordinary weather the hotel was fine. Currently undergoing renovations makes it hard to give a proper review. Overall it is a bit on the old side, but as stated it is undergoing big renovations. We got an ocenview room with breakfast at a great rate! Rooms are good size with great views. Buffet breakfast was great every morning, and we made use of the decent pool and gym. Only real issue was no free WIFI which i think should now be standard in any 5 star hotel. I think after the renovations this place will be great.

Was a nice stay and stuated close to surfers.. Have stayed in much nicer rooms on the coast though and cheaper then price i paid.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was good and clean and comfortable. Nice view. Check in was quick and pleasant. My only issue was that I phoned ahead to request a cot in the room, and also remined the front desk on check in at 4 pm about the cot. Then I went out and when I returened to the room at 6.30 it was not there. This is well over my little one's bed time and I did not expect to have to ring a third time to ask for it. But when it arrived it was good and comfortable for my baby.

Notwithstanding a significant renovation this hotel was good value, well located with staff very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is convenient to both the beach and the heart of Surfers Paradise. The room service food was delivered quickly and the food quality excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel as the staff were eager to please and nothing was too much trouble for them. Philip Brewin Melbourne

Was very pleasant with good size rooms and amenities. Parking is good and not expemsive.

Great location, clean and tidy room, isn't a modern room, and ocean view isn't like what i expect but overall i am still satisfied with it.
