"It was our first time in Nice. The hotel staff was very kind and friendly and give us all the information we need to get around in the city. The hotels location is perfect, short way to the old city, the railway and shopping og restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel was very good/various. "Didn't think the bedroom we stayed in was of four star quality. I would have expected bathrobes, hand cream and a selection of teas and coffees for a hotel of this star rating and for a bigger room. However the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a great selection for breakfast. The location was ideal for what we wanted to see. It was approximately 10 minutes to the Old Town and train station and in very close proximity to the shopping district. Overall I really enjoyed the stay in the hotel" - Anonymous
"We stayed in 2 rooms in the Ellington - the first as part of a tour and the room was tiny, the second we booked through Hotelclub and it was considerably better, about 3 times the size of the first. So I am not sure how you guarantee a good room. Evaporative airconditioning is also not the best, it still leaves the rooms very humid. Breakfast and hotel service was good." - Robyn Rennie
"Rooms are quite small even as twin or double (same room). High quality apt and it has a bar which is nice and a good breakfast but the rooms just feel a bit pokey. Not much in way of facilities though." - David McGovern
