Quality Crown Hyde Park Hotel London

The hotel is just around the corner from Paddington station and I had a pleasant stay. The room was quite spacious and being in the back of the hotel, it was really quiet at night. It's located in a square and not facing a main road, so it's probably the reason. The hotel website states you can access free wireless broadband connection, but I was informed of only the LAN connection which would cost you GBP 9.99 a day, however, you can get an access code for free wireless connection from reception, which I found out when I had to use internet in the lobby after check-out... Bummer, still, it was a good value for money overall. The hotel would be one of the candidates when I return to the area in the future.

Room small but standard for London. Good price deals around for January. Very convenient as a couple of minutes to Paddington station and the Heathrow Express.

Room was small but comfortable for one, would have been very cosy! if there were 2 people staying in it, but was well planned with all amenities necessary , trouser press and iron and ironing board , very clean , good location very near to station .So you do not need to drag suitcases across London from Heathrow

A reasonable place to stay. Somewhat charming with a neighborhood feel. THe location is good. THe price is ok for the heart of London.

I have stayed at this hotel once before & enjoyed it very much - hence my return a second time. I was not disappointed. The welcome is warm, the staff are excellent, & nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are quite small, but adequate although the central TV system seems to have a gremlin. In every other aspect the hotel is very good & customer service is high on the agenda. I normally book hotels on-line & the prices for this hotel seem to vary very widely.

I was quite surprised to get a large double room with an extra bed, having booked a single room. A pleasant surprise ! The negative part was disturbance by some workers banging away jost above my head when I was going to rest after my travel. But this was thonly negative remark I have.

Room was quite small, but central location made up for this. The square itself was very quiet at night time a huge advantage for a peaceful sleep. Hyde Park was only 400m from hotel which was nice.

Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff. Room was tiny though. It was a twin room for sole use which was fine, but it would never accomodate two people. Should be sold as a single room.

Was good value but prices have recently increased considerably, but a pleasant quiet hotel

I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff. My only worry was the warmth of the room but as explained to me by the front desk manager, renovations will soon take care of this problem. I was very happy to be able to walk from the Express Train (Heathrow to Paddington) to the hotel in about six minutes!! I will certainly stay here again on my next visit to London.

Hotel was in great position, 5 min walk to Paddington Station & in quiet street. We had a Club Bedroom - newly updated & very clean but no air-conditioning. The room was extremely warm and airless. A electric fan was supplied which helped but they need air conditioning badly, especially for those summer months. Buffet breakfast was hearty and generally, hotel was very good value for money, especially in London.

Conveniently located near Paddington Station. Rooms are small but adequate.

Would highly recommend especially if you're after a good value break in London. Clean, ensuite, widescreen TV etc + plenty of storage space & a very comfortable bed. Service at hotel was nothing special, but efficient. Continental breakfast was included in the price, which was perfectly adequate & plentiful. Paddington tube & railway station are a Two minute walk away, The hotel is quiet as it overlooks a nice garden square. Only tfive min walk to Hyde Park. Excellent position. Would certainly go again!

Great spot near Paddington Stn. Rooms are tiny and we overlooked a grotty backyard. Continental breakfast included.

It was a very pleasant stay and the service was very good. The personel was helpfull and very acomedating.

The basic rooms are very, very small - smallest I've ever seen in a hotel of this class in London. We asked to be moved and were moved to a Club Room, which was the size of a normal small 3* London hotel. Apart from this, the hotel was quite staisfactory.

Small but comfortable room in a very busy area. Excellent location for Paddington Station.

Although reception could have been friendlier, we would certainly stay at this hotel again. Room was small but we anticipated that it would be based on previous experience staying in London.
