Clean and comfortable but room decor could use a refresh (was the same as during a previous visit in 1991).
Food is quite good. Room is a little overpriced. Location is easy to find.

While it was only an overnight stay, we found the hotel and the facilities most pleasent. The position of the hotel was lovely. Our room was clean and well appointed and the breakfast the was part of the package was excellent.

The food was amazing - makes a real difference after working all day to be able to sit back and have a meal in my room and relax and very nice surroundings.

Very pretty setting - my room opened onto woods with bird sounds during the day. Decent restaurant, which is good because there is no other restaurant close!
Nice hotel, well situated for business in Newcastle. Only suggestion is that they put towels and a spray bottle w/ disinfectant in the gym to wipe down the equipment after use.
Although the restaurant provides a good breakfast, dinners are expensive and the quality rather average. To encourage me to have dinner there again the quality needs to improve markedly.
Nice hotel but on both visits dinner trays were left outside rooms from when I arrived at night to when I left the next morning which I found a bit off putting. Breakfast was delicious.
the service at this hotel was wonderful. The bed was also very good. The only thing that let the hotel down was the older fittings.
Fantastic room but the hotel is in a pretty remote area of Newcastle.
